2025 ACM Awards: Everything to Know About the Live Ceremony

The 2025 ACM Awards are almost here. The star-studded show promises amazing performances, all-star collaborations, star-studded tributes and more. Keep reading to find out everything to know about the 2025 ACM Awards.

Who Is Hosting:

For the second year in a row, and the 19th time in her career, Reba McEntire will host the live ceremony. She was inspired to do it last year after watching Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks, who hosted the ceremony in 2023.

“I saw Dolly and Garth doing it [in 2023], and I thought, ‘Man, that’s fun,’” McEntire previously told Entertainment Tonight. “They’re having a great time. And my competitiveness came in.”

When the 2025 ACM Awards Take Place:

The 2025 ACM Awards will take place on Thursday, May 8, at 8:00 PM ET.

The Location for the 2025 ACM Awards:

The 2025 ACM Awards will air live from Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas.

How to Watch:

The 2025 ACM Awards will stream live on Amazon Prime. A Prime membership is not required to watch the show. The ceremony will also be available on Twitch.

Who Is Nominated:

Ella Langley leads the list of nomees, with eight nominations. She is followed by Cody JohnsonMorgan Wallen and Lainey Wilson, who have seven each. Chris Stapleton has six, while Riley Green and Post Malone have four nominations. Kelsea Ballerini has three, including her first for Entertainer of the Year. Luke Combs and Kacey Musgraves both have two each.

Who Is Not Nominated:

Surprisingly, neither Scotty McCreery nor Keith Urban received any nominations, nor did Luke Bryan or Thomas Rhett.

Who Is Being Honored:

Urban may not have been nominated, but he will be honored during the live ceremony. The superstar will receive the Triple Crown Award, last given during the ACM Awards to Underwood in 2010. Urban is eligible because he won Top New Male Vocalist in 2001, Male Vocalist of the Year in 2005 and 2006 and Entertainer of the Year in 2019.

“In particular, if it inspires some people from other countries who have a dream of coming to America, then that’s a good thing,” Urban tells Billboard.. “It took a lot of years of living in [Nashville] and becoming part of the community. But it’s absolutely achievable if you’re willing to put in the hard work and the time.”

 

Who Is Performing:

Stapleton, Brothers Osborne and Megan Moroney will perform in tribute to Urban. Other performers include Johnson, Wilson, Langley, Top, Alan Jackson, Eric ChurchBlake SheltonBrooks & Dunn, Stapleton, Clint Black, Ballerini, LeAnn RimesMiranda LambertRascal Flatts and Wynonna Judd.

Who Already Won:

Some artists have already walked away with trophies. Langley won New Female Artist of the Year, while Zach Top won New Male Artist of the Year.The Red Clay Strays won New Duo or Group of the Year. Langley and Green also won the ACM Award for Visual Media of the Year, for “You Look Like You Love Me.”

Who Is Presenting:

Gretchen Wilson, Martina McBrideCarly Pearce, Clint Black, Crystal Gayle, ERNEST, Gabby Barrett, Jordan Davis, Lee Ann Womack, Lionel Richie, Little Big Town, Parker McCollum, Riley Green, Rita Wilson, Sara Evans, Sugarland, and The Oak Ridge Boys will perform. Shelton and Judd will both perform and present.
