Luke Combs Hints At a 'Big Tour' Coming in 2026

Luke Combs is back, and planning big things in the future. The 35-year-old says, in a video message to his fans, that he is working on a new tour, and a brand-new album.

“I wanted to get on here and just say thank you guys for allowing me to have this time off with my family. I’m really excited to get to spend time with my wife and the boys,” Combs says, revealing that he is in the studio parking lot, ready to record more songs.

“I just wanted to update you guys on what’s been going on with me,” he continues. “I know that I’ve kind of been dark on social media for a while. Not dark, just not doing it as much as I should, or as much as maybe I want to. I think that just comes with being busy with the kids. My truck’s full of rubber duckies and turkey calls that my kids play with and stuff. That’s just what my life’s been, being a dad. But I’m getting back in the saddle here, back in the studio. I’m very excited about that. I’ve got some awesome festivals coming up this year.”

In addition to the festivals, which include Bonnaroo, Newport Folk Festival and Lollaplooza, Combs is also working on a brand-new tour for 2026.

“I got a big tour coming next year,” Combs says. “I just kind of finalized a lot of the details on that here in the last week or so. So new record coming up soon, new tour coming up. I’m just excited. I’m excited and I’m back. I’m back doing stuff and being around, and obviously spending time at home. I just wanted to be able to talk to you guys again, me to you. I know I used to do stuff like this a lot, and I miss doing it. Love you guys and see you soon.”

Combs actually drops a hint about his next set of tunes in the video.

“Little life update for y’all,” Combs captions the video. “I will be doing a headline tour next year and I am actively working on new music. There also may or may not be an Easter egg regarding new music in this video that will one day make sense.”

Combs recently opened up about his decision to step back from his grueling tour schedule, in favor of more time with his two sons.

“We’re only doing festivals this year,” Combs tells People. “We got 20-something shows this year. I’ve already done ten of them. I got 14 more shows for the rest of the whole year. I want to be home with my kids. I want to see my kids grow up and I want them to know that they’re important to me.”

Not many artists would have the luxury, at least in country music, of just not touring. Fortunately, Combs isn’t most artists.

“I feel like country music for a long time has been, ‘Let’s tour every year as hard as we can tour’ while it’s hot,” Combs says. “But I’m now like, ‘Why can’t you tour really hard, build a really great fan base, care about them, support them, give them exclusive things, give them great experiences and let them understand that you care about them,’ and then if you do want some time for you, you can tell them, ‘I can’t tour this year.’ I wanted to get to the point where I could do that, and it not be career suicide.”
