Home Free Announces Into The Deep Tour With The Longest Johns

Home Free has an exciting new tour coming up this fall. The five-man group announces their co-headlining Into The Deep Tour, kicking off on September 18 and running through October 5. Home Free is sharing the tour with The Longest Johns, a group Adam Chance says he has been a fan of for a long time.

“I’ve been fans of these guys and this style of music long before we became friends with them,” Chance says of the folk group. “So they’ve really been an inspiration for us in our approach to shanties and traditional folk. Last year I had the pleasure of going on tour with them when they came stateside, and it was a blast performing their songs and getting to know their fan base. Now, I can’t wait to give people something completely unique on this tour. It’ll be like nothing our fans have ever seen, and I’m so excited for it.”

The Into the Deep Tour isn’t the only new tour Home Free is planning this year. They recently hinted they had innovative tour plans for their fans in 2025.

“I’ll say that we are toying around with the idea later in the year of possibly doing a tour in which every show is different, and the setlist is dictated by the fans,” Tim Foust told Everything Nash earlier this year.

The tour is only part of a brand-new chapter for Home Free, which also includes a new album.

“I will say that in some ways, this album is a departure for us, and in other ways, not at all,” Foust tells Everything Nash.

“You’re going to get some of that same old Home Free that people know and love,” Chance adds. “But, I think our fans — and I know they are grateful for this — we put out so much music. And this one is a way for us to do something that’s a little bit different. Not too different. But a little bit different.”

No one is more excited about a new tour than the band’s newest member, Adam Bell-Bastien, who is eager to hit the road with the other Home Free members.

“I’m feeling really good. I was actually a little disappointed that we didn’t do a spring tour, because I started to miss the bus life. These guys are like, ‘Calm down, new guy,’” he says with a laugh. “But I really love it. Any time I get to spend with them, it’s like I’m still having a lot of new experiences. We’re doing a lot of press things, which is the most I’ve ever done, but like everything else, I feel really well supported in just sitting in a room with these guys, talking to people I’ve never met before. I’m just encouraged every step of the way.”
