Luke Bryan is giving fans at a recent show a full refund, even though he kept on playing. In a video posted on TikTok, Bryan announces that he is giving all of the fans at his Rogers, Arkansas show on June 19 all of their money back, due to vocal issues, although he played the entire concert.
“So, I’m gonna get real with y’all,” Bryan says. “This is the weirdest thing I’ve ever dealt with in my life. I cannot have my voice in this venue for some reason. It happens every time, I don’t know why. But, you guys keep showing up year after year to see me put on this show.”
Bryan goes on to say that he is taking a cue from Luke Combs about what to do when a show isn’t the best it can be. In 2022, Combs refunded tickets ahead of his performance, due to vocal issues, but still put on a concert.

“I saw Luke Combs do this a couple of years ago, when he was having a weird night on stage. And I said, ‘You know what? That’s pretty cool,'” Bryan says, revealing that he is refunding everyone’s tickets for the show, even though he is going to keep singing.
“We’re just going to make this what it is,” he adds. “I don’t know why I have to do this every time, but y’all can hear. So we’re gonna make the most of it.”
Unfortunately, it turns out Bryan’s vocal problems weren’t related to the Walmart AMP where Bryan performed. He later announced that he was postponing his shows this weekend in Lafeyette, Louisiana and Dallas, Texas to September, due to illness.
Due to illness, my shows in Dallas and Lafayette this weekend have been rescheduled to the following dates:
9/11: Lafayette, LA
9/12: Dallas, TXPlease hold on to your tickets—they will be honored for the new dates. Thank you for your understanding.

Bryan is working hard on a new album, less than a year after Mind of a Country Boy was released.
“I’m on tour right now,” Bryan tells The Tennesseean. “I’m actively writing songs. People always ask me, ‘Are you working on a new album?’ I don’t think I ever stop really working on a new album. I’m always trying to write a little bit and find songs. My current single, ‘Country Song Came On,’ is nearing the Top 10 right now, which I’m excited about. But the bottom line is, get in the studio at some point and record some new music, and just keep doing the deal. Keep enjoying being a country music singer.”
Bryan has a Top 15 hit with “Country Song Came On” from Mind of a Country Boy.
“From the time I was 16 years old till I got my record deal, I [played] most of my concerts in little bars and honky tonks,” Bryan tells Billboard. “So I spent a good 12, 13 years playing in those environments and playing the Merle Haggard songs and the Waylon Jennings songs and the Keith Whitleys and all that. So it’s nice to find one like this that really is authentically me.”
Currently, Bryan’s next show is scheduled on June 26 at Country Stampede in Kansas. Find all of his music and upcoming shows at LukeBryan.com.
