Jason Aldean is heading overseas. The father of four announces his Full Throttle World Tour in 2026, with shows in New Zealand and Australia. Corey Kent will serve as the opening act overseas.
The international dates begin on February 19 in Auckland, New Zealand, before heading to Australia for six shows. The tour concludes on March 1 in Canberra, Australia.
The news comes as Aldean is only a few weeks away from returning to the road on his Full Throttle Tour, with Nate Smith, RaeLynn and Dee Jay Silver serving as his opening acts.
Aldean certainly has plenty of songs to choose to play while on the road. He recently celebrated his 30th No. 1 single, with “Whiskey Drink.” The song is from his 2023 Highway Desperado record.

“30 number ones is a huge milestone, and I couldn’t let it go by without thanking the fans, country radio, the songwriters, BMG and the best promo team in the business,” Aldean says. “I appreciate all the support we have gotten from everyone over the last 20 years. And, I don’t plan on going anywhere anytime soon; so, I’m working hard on getting this next round of music out and can’t wait to share it soon.”
Aldean’s band members Kurt Allison and Tully Kennedy wrote “Whiskey Drink,” along with John Morgan and Jonathan Edwards.
“‘Whiskey Drink’ is one of the songs that I really feel like set the tone for the entire album,” Aldean explains. “It was one of the early ones that we got. I remember thinking, ‘Okay, this is cool. It’s different. It’s new territory for us, a little bit. It’s familiar, but it’s not the same.’ And I just remember falling in love with that song. When that chorus hits, all of a sudden I am all in. The chorus is where the money’s at. Lyrically, it’s great. It’s also an earworm that gets in there, and you can’t get the song out of your head.
“It was really one of the songs that helped establish a direction we were going to go with the album, sonically and all those things,” he adds. But ‘Whiskey Drink’ is a pivotal song, I think, for the album.”
Aldean will likely have a new album to announce soon, one he hints will include a few surprise guests.
“We been in the studio a lot,” Aldean reveals to Taste of Country. “Probably like the last eight months or so, six to eight months. Pretty much done with the album; at least my part.”
“It’s been a cool project,” he teases. “A lot of songs. Couple duets in there too, so it’s gonna be pretty cool … There’s a couple of songs in the works that I know are going to be duets. Then there’s one, maybe two that we still kind of haven’t found our partner for that yet.”
