Merry Christmas from Brad Paisley! The Nashville Songwriter Hall of Fame member announces the release of a new holiday album, Snow Globe Town, available on Friday, November 7. The record includes eight new holiday songs, written by Paisley, along with eight holiday classics.
Paisley was inspired to create Snow Globe Town after writing music for the original Hallmark movie, A Grand Ole Opry Christmas.
“I had so much inspiration writing songs for Hallmark’s A Grand Ole Opry Christmas movie,” Paisley says. “It sparked a real creative energy that was honestly hard to stop so we made an entire album.”

What Songs Are On Brad Paisley’s ‘Snow Globe Town’
A complete track list for Snow Globe Town has yet to be released. Two songs from the record, both “Leave The Christmas Lights On” and “Counting Down The Days,” are available now. The latter, written by Paisley and Chris DuBois, is the official anthem of Hallmark‘s 16th annual Countdown to Christmas programming event, which begins on Friday, October 17.
Everything to Know About Hallmark’s A Grand Ole Opry Christmas Movie
Nikki DeLoach and Kristoffer Polaha star in A Grand Ole Opry Christmas, which will premiere on Thanksgiving weekend. The movie will first air on Saturday, November 28, at 8:00 PM ET on the Hallmark channel, streaming the next day on Hallmark+.
Paisley appears in the film, alongside several other country stars.
“The Hallmark channel to me is a major part of finding the joy and the spirit of the holidays,” said Paisley. “We turn it on and leave it on in our house like Christmas tree lights or decorations, it’s a major part of the atmosphere for us. I loved the challenge of creating that same magic with this music by letting it take you to the same place that these movies and this world Hallmark has built. Can’t wait for you to hear what all we’ve done. Also, knowing the Opry is the setting for one of these movies is very inspiring.”
“Our goal in this milestone year is to put the Opry, its artists and the rich songwriting traditions that have made country music a global sensation in front of more people than ever before,” adds Colin Reed, Executive Chairman of Ryman Hospitality Properties, the Opry’s parent company. “Our partnership with Hallmark brings these elements to life this holiday season through a creative and uplifting take on a uniquely Nashville story.”
