Scotty McCreery and Dustin Lynch are only a week away from the start of their co-headlining Two For the Road Tour. The tour begins on November 6 in Saginaw, Michigan, wrapping up on December 6 in Duluth, Minnesota. Even with a new baby at home, McCreery can’t wait to hit the road.
“I’ve always been such a fan of Dustin’s,” McCreery tells Audacy. “The music he’s got, he’s in the hitmaking business. All he does is put out hit after hit after hit. We were both going to tour this fall anyways, and we were like, ‘Man, why don’t we just go out together. I’ll bring all my stuff, you bring all your stuff, and let’s make it one big show.’ And so, I don’t think either of us have done this kind of tour before, but it’s gonna be fun. We’re gonna try it out, and hopefully the fans come out and have a little unique experience.”
McCreery says he and Lynch are still figuring out exactly how each night will go. But one thing is certain, fans will have an unforgettable experience with the two singers.
“I’m not exactly sure how we’re going to be getting into it until we get to rehearsals and stuff,” the “Bottle Rockets” singer says. “But taking different leads here and there. Maybe having a couple of collabs where we’re both on stage at the same time. Either way, no matter what we end up on, it’s just going to be a good time, just fun. Laidback. He’s gonna play his whole set of hits, and I’m gonna come in there and play our songs. It’ll be a good time.”

Scotty McCreery Releases “White Christmas”
McCreery just released “White Christmas,” his take on a holiday classic.
“I love Christmas music and sing it throughout the year,” McCreery says of the song. “For a long time, ‘White Christmas’ has been one of my favorite Christmas songs. I especially love The Drifters’ version as well as Elvis’s version. I decided it was now time to do my own version. Hope everyone likes it!!”
While speaking to Audacy, McCreery says that he decided to do another Christmas song, because of his love of the holidays, especially the music that surrounds the season.
“I grew up with Christmas music always playing in the house,” McCreery explains. “For me, the Elvis Christmas record was my favorite. So, I think little by little, nowadays everybody wants more music, more this. I was like, ‘Let’s go do a Christmas song.’ We were in the studio already, so it made sense.”
