Scotty McCreery and Dustin Lynch Talk Co-Headlining Two For The Road Tour

Scotty McCreery and Dustin Lynch‘s co-headlining Two For The Road Tour kicks off tonight, November 6, in Saginaw, Michigan. The tour features both artists, and now good friends, for one unforgettable night.

“I’m looking forward to hitting the road with Dustin for this tour! It’s gonna be a great time,” McCreery says.

“I’m so pumped to hit the road with Scotty on the Two For The Road Tour,” adds Lynch. “We’ve both got fans who show up ready to throw down, and this tour is gonna be wall-to-wall energy from the jump. We’re coming with sets full of hits and a whole lot of good vibes — I can’t wait to get out there and make some memories with everyone.”

Ahead of the opening night, McCreery said he was eager to join Lynch for several shows to wrap up 2025.

“I’ve always been such a fan of Dustin’s,” McCreery tells Audacy. “The music he’s got, he’s in the hitmaking business. All he does is put out hit after hit after hit. We were both going to tour this fall anyways, and we were like, ‘Man, why don’t we just go out together. I’ll bring all my stuff, you bring all your stuff, and let’s make it one big show.’ And so, I don’t think either of us have done this kind of tour before, but it’s gonna be fun. We’re gonna try it out, and hopefully the fans come out and have a little unique experience.”

How Scotty McCreery and Dustin Lynch Will Co-Headline The Two For The Road Tour

When McCreery sat down with Audacy, he and Lynch still hadn’t figured out exactly how they would each perform their songs. But the father of two did hint that they would definitely share the stage together at some point.

“I’m not exactly sure how we’re going to be getting into it until we get to rehearsals and stuff,” McCreery says. “But taking different leads here and there. Maybe having a couple of collabs where we’re both on stage at the same time. Either way, no matter what we end up on, it’s just going to be a good time, just fun. Laidback. He’s gonna play his whole set of hits, and I’m gonna come in there and play our songs. It’ll be a good time.”

Scotty McCreery Talks About Being a Father

McCreery and his wife, Gabi, recently welcomed their second child, son Oliver Cooke, into the world. Oliver joins big brother, Avery, who just turned three years old, and is already a fan of what his father does for a living.

“He loves it,” McCreery boasts. “He used to never listen to my music in my truck, and now I have to, ’cause it’s all he wants to listen to. It’s very sweet. He gets to come on the road, probably one weekend a month at least, with Gabi. If we’re going on the road, he’s not wearing anything but his boots. No tennis shoes, no crocs. He’s like, ‘If we’re going on the road, I’m wearing my overalls and my boots. We’re going to a country show.’

“He’s come on stage a few times, and just loves it,” he adds. “Fans bring him gifts. They’ve really accepted him. It’s just been so cool and sweet to watch, as a Daddy, that he wants to be a part of everything.”
