Lainey Wilson Shares Emotional Message of Gratitude: 'I Am So Humbled'

Lainey Wilson is full of gratitude as she looks back on her year. Wilson recently shared a heartfelt message to her fans, as she wraps up touring in 2025, and looks ahead to 2026.

“Thank you so much, y’all. That’s all I have to say, is thank you, thank you, thank you,” an emotional Wilson begins. “Thank you for making my dreams come true, right before my eyes. I am so humbled. I am so grateful. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. This is the only thing I know how to do. This is the only thing I want to do, and thank you all. Thank you for letting me do this. I just feel so blessed. I’m telling you right now, if it is your calling, if it is what you feel like has been placed on your heart to do, just go do it.

“There is nothing that can stop you,” she continues. “Go do it. You will find your place. No matter what that means, you will find your place. I believe it 190 percent. But I just want to tell you all that, because I feel like this is my calling. I trusted my heart, when I was just a little girl, about knowing that this was what I was supposed to do. And I’m so glad that that nine-year-old little girl was not completely crazy. I mean, she was pretty crazy, but not completely. But thank y’all.”

Lainey Wilson Gives An Update On Her Next Album

Wilson just had a No.1 single with “Somewhere Over Laredo,” from her latest Whirlwind Deluxe record. The 33-year-old is now hard at work on her next album, one she has been working on for a while.

“Honestly, before the deluxe was even out, I was already working on the next project,” Wilson tells Audacy. “That’s kind of how I do it. Because this job comes with a lot of different parts of it, I want to make sure that I’m always keeping the writing, the songwriting, at the forefront. So no matter what, I put co-writes in there, and try to just have time where I just brainstorm and think of ideas, and think about what direction do I want to go next, what have I not said, what part of me am I discovering that I feel comfortable sharing with other people.

“A lot of soul-searching,” she adds. “I feel like I’m constantly soul-searching, and digging things up. And so, it’s important for me to be writing while I’m doing that soul-searching.”

Lainey Wilson Reveals Her Holiday Plans

Wilson is now off the road, and ready to enjoy some time with her family and friends, along with her future husband, Devlin “Duck” Hodges.

“I’m gonna get some holiday breaks, some time with my family,” the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year says. “We’re going back over to Australia in February. But I really do think these next couple of months, I’m just going to focus on being creative. I’m gonna get a little time in my house. I just want to shut it down, and I think it’s important to get bored every now and then. You gotta get bored to figure out what’s next … It’s important to get bored.”

Wilson does have to go to work for one day this year. The Louisiana native is co-headlining New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash, along with Jason Aldean and Bailey Zimmerman w. The show will air on CBS from 8:00-10:00 PM ET, and from  10:30 PM-1:30 AM ET. It will also stream on Paramount+.
