Luke Combs is sharing a video of him performing “Sleepless in a Hotel Room.” The new song is from his forthcoming new album, The Way I Am, out on March 20.

Combs previously said the song was inspired by his wife, Nicole. But now he reveals the song was actually written several years ago, earlier in their relationship.

“Back in LA where it all started for this song five years ago,” Combs captions the video. “Only felt right to do a full video of ‘Sleepless’ this go round from my hotel room.”

Luke Combs Shares Details of His ‘The Way I Am’ Album

Combs’ The Way I Am album comes nearly two years after his latest Father & Sons record. He has already released several songs from the project, including  “My Kinda Saturday Night,” “15 Minutes,” “Giving Her Away,” “Back In The Saddle,” and “Days Like These,” the latter of which is his current single. Combs recently celebrated his 19th No. 1 single, with “Back in the Saddle,” a song he wrote with Jonathan Singleton and Chip Matthews.

Although Combs has not revealed a full track list for The Way I Am, he does reveal that he has a lot of songs on the album.

“22 songs. It’s called The Way I Am …I’m really proud of this record,” Combs shares on social media. “I really, really am. I’m proud of my whole team for working on this. It’s been a long process getting this thing going. I’m excited for you guys to hear it.”

Before announcing the project, Combs hinted that he had a lot of songs for the record.

“I’ve already recorded, I don’t know, over 30 songs, I would think,” Combs tells Audacy. “I don’t know that there’s any plans to do like the big album thing. I just don’t know if I’d love that idea. There’s nothing against it. I mean, obviously it works really well.”
