Valentine’s Day is this Saturday, but Tim McGraw doens’t need a special day for Faith Hill to know how much he loves her. For the country music superstar, every day is another chance for him to celebrate Hill, his wife of 29 years.
“I try to feel like it’s more of an all-year-round thing, but I try to do something,” McGraw reveals. “Sometimes they’re better than others. It depends on how much time that I have, or how lazy I’m being. But I do pretty well most of the time. Sometimes they’re bigger than others. Sometimes they’re just very simple.”
The One Way Tim McGraw Shows Faith Hill How Much He Loves Her
McGraw tries to do sweet gestures all year long for Hill, but he does reveal one specific way he makes her feel loved.
“Faith has a rose garden,” the 58-year-old shares. “She loves being around a rose garden and cutting roses and stuff. So, I’ve been finding these antique vases to give her for several occasions. Those have been pretty cool.”

Tim McGraw Reveals the Secret To His Successful Marriage With Faith Hill
For McGraw, there isn’t much of a secret to their successful marriage, other than making a commitment to always be together.
“I am not an expert,” McGraw tells his record label. “I don’t think anybody is. Marriage is — any relationship’s tough if you don’t cultivate it, and certainly if you’re not committed to it. Love and respect are always important, but I think that knowing that there’s gonna be tough times and knowing there’s gonna be times where you don’t like each other as much, all those things are gonna happen.”
What Tim McGraw Says About Faith Hill
On Hill’s 58th birthday last year, her adoring husband took time to praise his wife, and the mother of his three children.
“My soulmate. My rock. My force of nature. My everything,” McGraw writes. “This is the best damn person that there is. Her heart is pure gold. Her love is unconditional. Her love is bigger than the universe. I love this woman. Happy birthday, my love. And yes, I married waaaayyy above my head!”
In 2023, McGraw received the ACM Icon Award, using his time on stage to honor Hill.
“My world changed the day I met Faith Hill … You’re my partner in life, you’re my partner musically,” McGraw said through tears. “And how blessed I am. I would not be where I am today, without you and your grace. I love you unconditionally.”
McGraw just announced his headlining Pawn Shop Guitar Tour, kicking off on July 9.
