What the Artists Say About the Country Music Cruise
Neal McCoy: “I think it will become, hopefully, one of the reasons that people really want to come back. There’s a lot of great music, so they want to come for all of that, but maybe me being one of the big reasons. And I’m on the boat. I walk out by the pool, take pictures, shake hands, and sign stuff. It’s a big deal to them. And I know how big of a deal it is. So it’s, in turn, a big deal for me. And I should do my duty as a guy that’s done okay, to still make dreams come true. And sometimes that’s just take a picture.”
Joe Nichols: “I love all those guys on there … Clint Black, Bellamy Brothers, wow. That’s awesome. They got some big ol’ classic hits. Clint Black’s a fun dude, man. I’ve played a show with him on ACM Honors things, like a duo thing. He’s a lot of fun. So it’s going to be a fun lineup, a good country lineup.”

Billy Dean: “I love cruises. I don’t do many of them…I’m looking forward to, first of all, seeing everybody. Darryl and I are good buddies. I think it really is going to be nice to see all of the 90s fans and 90s country artists coming out, because I really have been trying to celebrate this resurgence that the 90s has had. I’m really coming in on the tail end. So it’s really nice to be able to, in 2026, get that all prepared, and all the new stuff ready to go. So when we do do the cruise in 2027, we’ll have a lot of fresh merchandise, and maybe fresh music. It will be a lot of fun to get reacquainted with the fans out there again.”
Darryl Worley: “We don’t hide out in our cabin. We’re out with the people the whole time. Something about that has really resonated with the crowd on those boats. And I think they enjoy my music. I think that’s part of it. But we’re just very down-to-earth people. We like to get out and mingle. And we’ve met so many people who’ve remained good friends of ours on that cruise. It’s my favorite cruise of all time…It’s just good country music.”
The Bellamy Brothers (David): “It’s a really fun thing to do. And the fans seem to like it so much. And it’s nice for us. Sometimes it gets a little hectic, ’cause our schedule’s kind of hectic around it. But to be able to go on seven days and lie in the sun will be really nice.”
The Bellamy Brothers (Howard): “You get to see a lot of your old friends I haven’t seen in a while, too, and that’s special as well.”
The Malpass Brothers (Chris): “It’s kind of like a family. The country music fans are really more like family than they are fans. And I think that’s why. It’s like a big family reunion. … It’s nonstop music. There’s a lot of people I want to see, and I’m busy myself; I can’t see them. But if you’re a fan, this is the spot to be.”
Jimmy Fortune: “All I know is that the people that come on here, I always call them the heart of America. Everybody, they want to hear some good country music, and this is the place to come and hear it, ’cause there’s so many great artists on here, every here. … It seems like everybody just enjoys it. It’s just a lot of people getting together, that have the same heart, the same love for country music, and for each other. It’s what this country’s all about. America’s all about togetherness, and just loving on each other. They ought to call it the Love Boat, because by golly, it is like the Love Boat out here, not only just with the people, the fans, but with the artists, too. Everybody genuinely respects one another; we cheer for one another.”
Wade Hayes: “I always love the opportunity to get out of Nashville when it’s freezing cold … Those guys are friends of mine. I’ve done several shows with Darryl this year.”
