Brett Young and his wife, Taylor, just celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary. The couple quietly tied the knot in a private ceremony on August 10, 2018, before having a large ceremony a few months later, on November 3. Now, Young reveals that Luke Combs performed “Beautiful Crazy” at their wedding. It’s a song he now performs during his shows as well.

“Beautiful Crazy” was written by Combs, along with Wyatt Durrette and Robert Williford. It was included as a bonus track on Combs’ freshman This One’s For You record, out in 2017. “Beautiful Crazy” was released as a single on December 3, 2018.

“We were lucky enough to have Luke Combs sing this at our wedding before it even went to country radio and it has meant the world to us ever since,” Young reveals, performing a clip of the song. “It’s been an honor and a BLAST to play it every night this year out on the road. Thanks for the loaner, buddy!”

What Brett Young Said About Taylor On Their 7th Wedding Anniversary

Young honored Taylor on their seventh wedding anniversary, sharing a touching tribute, along with photos of the couple with their two little girls, Presley and Rowan. Their anniversary falls less than two weeks after Taylor’s August 1 birthday.

“Sweet girl. I can’t believe it’s been 7 years,” Young writes. “It feels like just yesterday and it also feels like I’ve loved you forever. I feel like the luckiest guy in the world to get to celebrate the day God gave you to this world and our super top secret ‘first wedding’ all in 10 days time. It is the highest honor and privilege of my [life] to get to love, celebrate and do life with you.

“Happy anniversary and happy belated birthday,” he continues. “With all that I have and all that I am, I love you. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for being the heart of our family. Thank you for the person that you are and for how selflessly you give us all of you. You’re one of one and I’m so proud to call you mine and share my life with you. The girls and I are truly blessed. Happy everything, baby. I love you!!!”

How Brett Young Proposed to Taylor

Young recently shared how he proposed to Taylor, and the surprising way he pulled it off.

“On Valentine’s Day weekend, actually. I tried to play it off on her, because Valentine’s Day was on a Wednesday,” Brett recalls. “I was playing the Mississippi rodeo on Wednesday, and I was like, ‘Well, babe, since we’re at like a rodeo, would you mind if we celebrated Valentine’s Day this weekend because we’ll be in Oxford, Mississippi, which is where I went to school at Ole Miss. And we can get a nice dinner and the whole thing?’ And she totally thought I was blowing off Valentine’s Day, which was great, because she got mad at me.

“And then she got proposed to that following Sunday, a few days later at the Graduate Hotel, right there in Oxford,” he adds. “And they set up a really cool kind of rose petals leading to a sweetheart table with a bottle of champagne.”
