Chris Young fans who live in Nashville are in luck. Young just announced he is hosting a free show in Nashville on Thursday, October 16, to celebrate the release of his tenth studio album, I Didn’t Come Here To Leave, out on October 17.
Young shares the exciting news on social media, revealing that the party will take place in the parking lot of Losers, one of Young’s favorite Nashville bars, beginning at 6:00 PM.
The event is free and open to the public, but guests must be at least 21 years old to attend. The parking lot will open at 5:00 PM. Young will be joined by Adrien Nunez, Caylee Hammack, and Aniston Pate.

All About Chris Young’s ‘I Didn’t Come Here To Leave’ Album
I Didn’t Come Here To Leave is Young’s first album on Black River Entertainment, and the one he is most excited about releasing, throughout his almost 20-year career.
“I am very, very excited about this record, and for a lot of reasons,” Young shares at a recent media event. “Mainly the level of care that’s been given to this album. Not that any of my other albums in my career haven’t had that same level of care. It’s just that there’s something special about this one. I don’t know what it is. And it just makes me happy.
“I love going back and listening to it,” he continues. “Normally, as an artist, I feel like a lot of us get done, and don’t go back and listen to it anymore. And I’m walking around to my friends, going, ‘Hey, listen to this. This is cool, right?’ So, I’m just excited. I think this record is special. and obviously the new relationship with Black River is pretty incredible.”
Other New Music Chris Young Is Working On
Young hints that I Didn’t Come Here To Leave might not be his only album out this year. The Tennessee native already announced his It Must Be Christmas – An Acoustic Evening with Chris Young Tour, which he says might also have new music.
“Never done one before. I’ve recorded a lot of Christmas music. There may be new Christmas music coming soon,” Young teases on Country Countdown USA. “I love that season. I love decorating for Christmas. The music from that holiday is really special. I’m going to do smaller rooms, Christmas at the beginning, hits in the middle, and more Christmas music at the end. We’re gonna make it fun. It’s gonna be a very different kind of show, and I’m excited about it.”
It Must Be Christmas – An Acoustic Evening with Chris Young is, surprisingly, Young’s first holiday tour ever.
“I’m just really excited to do a Christmas tour,” Young says. “A lot of people have asked me for it. I’ve never done one. I know it’s not the norm for everybody else, but Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year.”
