Darryl Worley has a new business venture, and it isn’t music. The country music hitmaker just announced the launch of Awful Beautiful Life Luxury Tiny Home Community and Resort. Located in Enterprise, Alabama, the new community will feature more than 70 tiny homes, available for purchase and short-term lodging.
Worley had the idea for the Awful Beautiful Life Luxury Tiny Home Community and Resort by thinking of the military and their frequent need for short-term housing.
“A very close friend of mine, Ronnie Gilley, who lives down in the Enterprise area, came up with this [idea],” Worley tells Everything Nash. “I mean, it’s genius. And why someone hasn’t done this before … I mean, it’s very seldom that you come up with an idea that no one has done before.”
Located near Fort Novosel (formerly Fort Rucker), the first phase has over 70 units. But more than offering housing, Worley says they are putting a lot of thought into making it appealing and welcoming for everyone.
“I think constantly about the American dream, because I’m that guy,” Worley says. “I believe it should still be real. But for lots and lots of people who have worked hard their whole life, it’s just not real. You can have it here because you’re downsizing, and getting in this tiny home, and the amenities that are right there at your fingertips.”

What Makes Darryl Worley’s Awful Beautiful Life Luxury Tiny Home Community and Resort Unique
Worley and Gilley are putting a lot of thought into every aspect of the Awful Beautiful Life Tiny Home Community and Resort.
“They’re in the process of building a lagoon pool. It’s like a full-blown resort pool,” Worley reveals. “It has an event center, it’s got pickleball courts, it’s got a doggy park. It’s got cornhole courts. It’s got a fully equipped fitness center. It has a tiki bar. There are waterfalls and bars all around the pool. It’s one of those places that you go to, and you have like the greatest vacation of your life, and you look at your partner and say, ‘I don’t wanna leave. I don’t wanna go back home.’ And here, you don’t have to. That is home.”
Worley is most excited that the homes are affordable, with the resident forefront in their minds.
“How often can you buy a home? And I understand it’s a tiny home,” Worley says. “We’re trying to help people to realize that when you get rid of junk, and you bring it down to the necessities — you wouldn’t believe, these things have incredible little closet spaces. The bathroom’s big. It’s even got a sleep loft in it. And you could put five kids up there. It’s amazing. I just think it’s a no-brainer. I’m so excited about it. I’ve done tons of projects with [Gilley] in the Enterprise area over the past 25 years. And this is, without a doubt, the coolest thing we’ve ever done.”
Units will be available to purchase or rent, for short or long-term. Find more information at DarrylWorleyAwfulBeautifulLifeResort.com.
