Dolly Parton is heading to Las Vegas! The 79-year-old announces her Dolly: Live in Las Vegas residency, a limited-run of six shows taking place on December 4, 6, 7, 10, 12 and 13, at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
“To say I’m excited would be an understatement,” Parton says. “I haven’t worked Vegas in years and I’ve always loved singing there. I’m looking so forward to the shows in The Colosseum at Caesars and I hope you are as well. See you there!”
Parton also shares the exciting news on social media.
“Grab your rhinestones, Vegas is calling!” Parton writes. “I’m taking over The Colosseum at Caesars Palace with Dolly: Live in Las Vegas, a limited-run engagement from December 4-13.”
Tickets for Dolly: Live in Las Vegas will be available beginning on Wednesday, June 25 at 10:00 AM PT, via Ticketmaster.

The announcement of the residency comes a few months after Parton’s husband, Carl Dean, passed away on March 3.
“I really feel his presence,” Parton tells The Independent. “I just try to go on, because I know I have to. And he was ill for quite a while, and part of me was at peace that he was at peace and not suffering anymore. But that still doesn’t make up for the loss and the loneliness of it.”
It’s because of Dean that Parton feels compelled to keep working, maybe now more than ever before.
“When I did lose him, I just thought, ‘Well, I’m going to take all of that energy, and I’m just going to put that back into other things, and I’ll keep him ever-present in everything that I do,’” she says, adding that he was always proud of his superstar wife.
Dolly: Live in Las Vegas isn’t Parton’s only new musical endeavor on the horizon. She will also celebrate the launch of her Dolly: An Original Musical when it premieres in Nashville next month
“I just think that if you’re successful, if you are lucky enough to see your dreams come true, you need to make new dreams out of your other dreams,” Parton says.
Parton currently has an exhibit, Journey of a Seeker, open now at the Country Music Hall of Fame.
“I’m so proud to be here. I really am.” Parton said at a reception when Dolly Parton: Journey of a Seeker opened. “I’m so honored. Many, many years ago, they inducted me into the Country Music Hall of Fame. ‘Cause when you are a country singer, no matter where you come from, two things you gotta do. You gotta be a member of the Grand Ole Opry, and I got to do that in 1969. And then, I got inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, and that was a great honor. They’ve always been so good to me, so sweet.”
Parton is also opening her own SongTeller Hotel in downtown Nashville in 2026. Keep track of all of Parton’s projects and future appearances at DollyParton.com.
