Ella Langley is giving a few hints about her new album. The Alabama native reveals her next set of tunes, the follow-up to 2024’s Hungover, will be unlike anything she has released in the past.
“This next record I’m going to put out is very much a concept piece,” Langley reveals on Country Countdown USA. “It’s different than what I’ve done, but it’s still me. I can’t wait to talk about it, but I can’t right now. There are so many layers to this. It’s not going to come out til next year. We may put out a single before then. It’s the coolest thing I’ve gotten to do. I’m co-producing the whole thing. I’m so excited.”
Langley currently has a Top 5 hit with “Weren’t for the Wind,” from Still Hungover, the deluxe version of Hungover. She just released a new song, “Never Met Anyone Like You,” a collaboration with HARDY. The song, with a savage surprising twist, is just part of the next set of tunes that Langley is eager to share with the world.
“It’s unlike anything I’ve put out, and it’s the most me I’ve ever felt on a record,” Langley tells Billboard.
“There will be things this year with collaborations that will appease the fans,” she adds.
The new album comes as Langley is enjoying an unforgettable 2025 already. Langley was the most nominated heading into the ACM Awards earlier this year. She also walked away with the most trophies, with a total of five.
“My head’s on a swivel just constantly spinning around,” Langley says. “It’s nuts. My feet have not touched the ground. I’m getting to taste it for the first time. I’ve only dreamt about it. To have the most nominations is mind-boggling. It’s taken some time to adjust.”

Langley has been vocal about her struggles with her mental health after the ACM Awards. But during her recent CMA Fest performance, the 26-year-old says it’s her strong faith that sustains her, in good times and bad.
“I grew up in a Southern Baptist church,” an emotional Langley says. “And we started off every sermon by saying, ‘God is good. And all the time, God is good.’ God has been nothing but good to me. Nothing but good to me. And every time I thought, ‘Why? Why this? Why them? Why not me? Why didn’t this work out? This job that I wanted, this show that I wanted. This person that I wanted. Why didn’t that work out for me?’ And I spent so long fighting that. I think I spend every day trying not to fight that still … Hindisght is 20/20. And God has a plan.”
Langley has a busy remainder of the year. She is headlining her own shows, plus joining her two-time duet partner Riley Green on tour, as well as open some shows for Morgan Wallen on his I’m The Problem Tour.
