Jason Aldean might soon be moving again. The 48-year-old reveals he and his wife, Brittany, are considering another move in the near future.
“We’ve been looking at land for a few years,” Aldean reveals on Country Countdown USA. “Where we are now, we thought we’d have to move because of school districts. We’re not in a big hurry. We found some land we like. We’re probably gonna build on it at some point. Maybe in the next year or so. Same area, not far from where we are. We both like dabbling in real estate.”
The Aldeans have moved a few times since their 2015 wedding, not that he is a big fan of relocating.
“We’ve been here six years,” Aldean says. “We don’t know what it looks like yet. I’m not looking forward to it. I like the finished product. It’s a lot of work building a house.”

All About Jason Aldean’s Two Younger Children, Memphis and Navy
Aldean has two older daughters, 23-year-old Keeley and Kendyl,18, from his first marriage. He also has two younger children, eight-year-old Memphis and seven-year-old Navy, with Brittany.
“They’re good,” Aldean says, speaking of Memphis and Navy. “They’re in school. … They’re close in age. They’re best friends; they do everything together. It’s awesome. I don’t think they know what to do without the other one.”
The two opted not to go with their father for the New Zealand and Australia leg of his Full Throttle Tour, which begins on February 19.
“They were gonna go,” Aldean shares. “Then Memphis asked how long the flight was. I told him ’22 hours.’ He went to Brit and said, ‘I don’t think I wanna go.’ She said, ‘Maybe I’ll stay home so they can go to school.’ So I think that’s what’s gonna happen. It’s a lot for them. We may do a vacation rather than a work thing.”
Jason Aldean Celebrates His 31st No. 1 Single, With “How Far Does A Goodbye Go”
The Georgia native just celebrated his 31st No. 1 single, with “How Far Does A Goodbye Go.” The song is from his forthcoming Songs About Us record, out on April 24. Brittany stars in the video. She also sings on “Easier Gone,” one of the songs from the project.
“We thought it was cool to tie it in, since she’s on the album too,” Aldean explains. “When she was filming her part, I heard her screaming and acting crazy. I went to the monitor to see if she was alright. She was just getting into character. It just worked out.”
After “How Far Does A Goodbye Go” hit No. 1, Aldean shared his thoughts on the accomplishment on social media.
“I thought 30 was the milestone… now we’re sitting at 31 number one songs,” he writes. “That’s pretty wild. Thank you to country radio, my team, our streaming partners, the songwriters, and every one of y’all who’ve listened and turned these songs into something bigger than we ever imagined.”
