Jordan Davis is already working on new music. After releasing Learn the Hard Way in August, a record that includes the No.1 singles, “I Ain’t Sayin'” and “Bar None,” Davis hints that 2026 might see a new record as well, especially since he isn’t going to be on the road as much.
“I’m actually looking forward to a year that’s a little lighter than what we’ve been doing,” the father of four tells Audacy. “Mainly because I think as busy as I’ve been with touring and making Learn The Hard Way, I really haven’t been able to really sit down and write like I’ve wanted to. I’ve either been coming into town and writing for a couple days, or bringing buddies out and writing on the road.
“So I’m really excited for [this] year to continue writing and making a new record,” he adds. “I feel like I’m really excited to get back to songwriting, and I’m glad that next year is a little lighter so that I can do that.”
Davis may be planning on spending more of 2026 at home, but he is kicking off the year with several international dates. Davis will embark on his global Ain’t Enough Road Tour on February 20. Avery Anna is joining Davis for the European dates, while Tucker Wetmore will open for the Australia and New Zealand dates.

Jordan Davis Focuses On His Health, Even On the Road
Whether at home or on the road, Jordan Davis is a much healthier version of himself than he was earlier in his career. He recently revealed that he has cut out alcohol while touring, and focuses on eating well and exercising, regardless of his location.
“Early on, we were living it up! We don’t anymore,” Davis tells GQ. “We’ve got two guys that are sober, and the rest of us have just kind of … there was a shift. I think early on, when you’re playing, you feel like you have to have alcohol. You depend on it to play a good show.”
While Davis will still have an occasional alcoholic beverage at home, it’s all business when he is touring.
“We’re sober on the road,” the 37-year-old remarks. “I do drink. I’ll drink at the house. My wife and I love to have a glass of wine with dinner. If we go out with friends, a Manhattan is my favorite cocktail. But we’re not a party camp by any means. It’s just the lie that musicians and rock stars have kind of fed, ‘Oh, dude, you got to go out and party. Be up until 2:00 AM.’
“That’s not setting you up for success,” he adds. “You’re not going to sleep better. It’s going to mess up your sleep. You’re going to be groggy in the morning, which is going to make you miss that workout.”
Not only did Davis cut out alcohol while touring, but he is also eating a much healthier diet than in the past.
“I feel like when you start eating healthier, you start seeing that even so-called healthy foods may not make you feel great,” Davis explains. “My favorite meal in the world is a green — whether it be green beans or broccoli or kale or something — a sweet potato, and steak. I mean, I could eat that every meal for the rest of my life. But I just started realizing that even sweet potatoes, the so-called good carbs, still make me a little sleepy and not 100 percent going into a show. Our quick fix meal is just ground beef, rice, cheese, lettuce. We’ll pre-package them and bring them out on the road.”
