We now know what songs are on Scotty McCreery‘s upcoming Scooter & Friends EP. McCreery previously shared that the song would include his current hit single, “Bottle Rockets,” and his new song, “Once Upon a Bottle of Wine,” with legend Charlie Wilson.
McCreery reveals that Scooter & Friends also includes “Whiskey Said” featuring Lee Brice, plus two songs he sings by himself, both “Swim Up Bar” and “Holding Down the Honky Tonk.”
“Back home everyone calls me ‘Scooter,’ so since I’m singing with a few of my favorite artists, I decided to call this project Scooter & Friends,” McCreery says. “It’s a fun collection of songs that are a little different from what I normally sing, yet they are still me. If the fans like it, maybe there will be a second volume in a few years.”

McCreery has more to look forward to next month than just new music. He also just announced Prime Country with Scotty McCreery, a month show on SiriusXM. The show will highlight artists like Garth Brooks, George Strait, Randy Travis, Kathy Mattea, Patty Loveless and more.
“I love country music from every decade, but the country music of the ’80s and ’90s is probably my favorite era of music,” McCreery tells Billboard. “I’m excited to put a spotlight on the songs and performers I grew up listening to that helped shape the artist I am today.”
In addition, Prime Country with Scotty McCreery will also share live Opry performances from that era. The first one will be Joe Diffie performing ‘Pick Up Man’ on the Opry stage from Oct. 18, 1997.
Of course, Prime Country with Scotty McCreery will also include some of his own music as well.
“You’ll also hear one or two of my songs on the show because – hey, it’s my show,” McCreery says. “I’m hoping in the future to occasionally have guest artists join me for some conversation as well. I’m really pumped to be able to do this, and I appreciate SiriusXM offering me this opportunity. I hope people tune in and enjoy it!”
