Thomas Rhett has a new song out, and it’s with a country music superstar. Rhett just released “Old Tricks” with Blake Shelton. The song is from About A Woman (& a Good Ol’ Boy), three new songs added to Rhett’s About A Woman album, first released last August.

Rhett released “Old Tricks” ahead of his sold-out concert at Boston’s legendary Fenway Park.

“If you’d have asked me what two of my biggest career bucket list dreams are, I would have told you headlining a stadium and collaborating with one of my heroes like Blake Shelton,” Rhett says. “This week, I’m doing both of those things, and my mind is blown. The best part is that I get to do it all with great friends and out on the road with my fans, surrounded by a team who has supported me from day one. … It’s one of the most iconic places you can play, and getting to come back to headline—especially with new music that means so much to me—feels like the perfect full-circle moment.”

Rhett is one of the writers on “Old Tricks,” but he admits it is Shelton who adds exactly what the song needs.

“Basically the hook of the song is ‘My old tricks don’t work anymore,'” Rhett tells Apple Music (via Country Now). “In college ,I could drink ten beers a day, wake up ready to do it again… [Now] it takes two full days to recover from that. And Blake hops on the second verse, and it’s just being, in such special Blake fashion, just made the song 150 percent better.”

Rhett penned a heartfelt letter to Boston after his sold-out show at Fenway Park.

“Dear Boston.. too many memories to count,” Rhett writes on social media. “Some I remember vividly and some are foggy for reasons I’m sure you can imagine. Pretty sure I have played most every venue this town has to offer. From the House of Blues, to my first tour ever opening for Toby Keith at the Xfinity Center, to the home of the Patriots opening for Kenny Chesney, opened here twice for Jason Aldean. Where I got to witness the masterpiece of a performance by the one and only Kid Rock, to arguably my favorite show ever two years ago at TD Garden, and to cap all that off getting to headline here last night alongside my brother Teddy Swims is something I may never wrap my head around.

“I’ve drank most of your bars outta beer, ate my weight in lobster rolls, tried but failed every time to get a reservation at Neptune Oyster, threw my guts up on a whale watching tour, and attended my fair share of Red Sox games,” he continues. “Needless to say this place has always been and always will be one of my favorite places to play shows on the planet. Since day one of my career I have dreamed of this moment. I’m so grateful for how much support y’all have shown me for over 15 years. So If I said I love you too many times last night, it’s because I’m not sure how to fully express how much this city means to me.”
