10 Of the Best Places to Eat Brunch in Nashville

Nashville is quickly becoming known as a city for foodies. The city has become a dining destination for travelers all over the world, with locals also enjoying both new and long-established restaurants.

While Music City has plenty of options from morning to night, there are numerous places that are making a name for themselves for their brunch menu. We picked ten of our favorites.

1. Butcher & Bee

Butcher & Bee’s brunch is worth visiting if only for their Whipped Feta, topped with fermented honey and black pepper and served with pitas. But since that hardly makes a meal, try their Coconut Parfait, served with breakfast granola and maple syrup, or their Shakshushka, two baked eggs with croutons, olive tapenade, labneh, lemon and parsley.

Butcher & Bee’s brunch is available Friday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

2. Josephine on 12th

Josephine on 12th has several traditional items, like the Josephine Benedict, which is poached eggs with scrapple, Benton’s ham and brown butter hollandaise, or their crab cake, served with lettuce, pickles and remoulade. But the brunch menu also boasts items not found anywhere else in Nashville, like their homemade Cinnamon Sugar Donuts, or their Duckfat Hashbrowns, served with two sunnyside-up eggs and smoked sausage gravy.

Brunch is available at Josephine on 12th on Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

3. Adele’s

If you always have trouble deciding what to get when you go to brunch, then Adele’s is the place to go. The popular restaurant offers a weekend brunch buffet, with everything from salad, such as their Cauliflower salad, with pistachios, raisins, green onion and white balsamic, to Homestyle French Toast, served with assorted berries. The buffet also includes Smoked Salmon, Jumbo Cocktail Shrimp, Smoked Gouda Grits, Pulled Pork, and even a seasonal vegan soup, plus several dessert options (try their Chocolate Budino).

Brunch is available on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

4. Urban Grub

Anyone eating brunch at Urban Grub should come hungry — very hungry. The restaurant offers starters like Pecan Latte Donuts, espresso-scented with a latte custard and Crab Beignets, lump crab with a white BBQ sauce. Entree items include the Urban Grub Bennie, served with Canadian bacon and a brown butter hollandaise sauce, and a Caramel Apple French Toast, which is brioche toast topped with Honeycrisp apples and whipped cream. Want to try something truly unique? Order their Seafood & Charcuterie Board.

5. Henrietta Red

No one does brunch quite like Henrietta Red, at least not in Nashville. Their eclectic menu includes everything from Smoked Mackerel Toast, topped with dill, capers, labnah and radishes, to their homemade Monkey Bread, topped with coffee sugar and a dulce de leche glaze. Save room for their Coffee Milk Punch, made with rum, iced coffee, Orgeat syrup and sweetened condensed milk.

Henrietta Red is open for brunch Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

6. Milk & Honey

Milk & Honey has almost too many options to count, from healthy to decadent. Their menu includes a Kale Salad, made with almonds, cranberries and parmesan, and topped with a champagne vinaigrette, or their Fig & Proscuitto Toast, which is fig preserves topped with prosciutto, gorgonzola, goat gouda, arugula and kalamata olives.

Milk & Honey also has Rosé Waffles, which is rosé soaked strawberry buttermilk waffles served with rosé syrup, whipped cream and a choice of home fries or fresh berries.

Milk & Honey, which has a full bar, plus an impressive selection of coffees and loose teas, is open from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, seven days a week.

7. Chauhan Ale & Masala House

Chauhan’s Ale & Masala House, Food Network’s Maneet Chauhan‘s popular Indian restaurant, offers brunch items not offered anywhere else in Nashville. Think Sweet Dosa Pancake, made with saffron liqueur macerated berries, fresh garam masala butter, maple and cardamom whipped cream. Or maybe Jam & Nutella, made with blackberry jam, toasted pistachios, Nutella and peanut butter, served over freshly-baked naan.

Brunch is available from 11:00 AM to 2:00 AM Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

8. Von Elrod’s Beer Hall & Kitchen

Von Elrod’s brunch menu isn’t as big as some, but it doesn’t need to be, since what they offer is so, so good. Only Von Elrod’s offers what they call “brunch snacks” on the menu, with items like sausage balls, served with whipped honey butter and sawmill gravy. Other items include Smoked Brisket Hash, with grilled corn, potatoes, sunny side up egg, cajun cream sauce, or their Malted Blueberry Pancakes, served with buttermilk syrup and fresh fruit. And don’t miss their Green Chile Gouda Grits as a side.

Von Elrod’s Beer & Kitchen Hall is open for brunch Friday to Sunday, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

9. Snooze

Snooze has such great food we keep going back. The East Nashville restaurant offers plenty of options for those with a sweet tooth, including their Strawberry Shortcake pancakes, made with strawberry coulis, strawberry mascarpone, strawberries and almond streusel, and served with vanilla crème, or their OMG! French Toast, which is fresh brioche stuffed with homemade  mascarpone and topped with vanilla crème, caramel, fresh strawberries and toasted coconut.

In the mood for something savory? Try their Breakfast Burrito, a flour tortilla stuffed full with scrambled cage-free eggs, hash browns, house black beans, cheddar and jack cheese, and topped with pico de gallo and a choice of house-made green chile or ranchero sauce.

Snooze also has plenty of great libations (their Bloody Mary is what actual dreams are made of) and numerous vegetarian and vegan options.

Snooze opens every day at 6:30 AM, and is open until 2:30 PM Monday to Friday, and until 4:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday.

10. Pinewood Social

Pinewood Social was churning out brunch before Nashville became such a culinary hotspot, and their menu is still just as popular today, maybe more. The restaurant offers plenty of both sweet and savory options, including their Grain Bowl, which features wild rice, chickpeas, charred broccoli, blistered tomatoes, pickled red onion and mustard seed, and topped with a roasted garlic vinaigrette and an onion almond caramel.
