Alan Jackson Announces Final Show With Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban + More

We now know when Alan Jackson will play his final show. The 66-year-old announces his final Last Call: One More for the Road – The Finale concert will take place on Saturday, June 27, at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium.

Jackson will be joined for the show by Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Riley Green, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Jon Pardi, and Lee Ann Womack. More artists are expected to be announced in the future.

“We just felt like we had to end it all where it all started for me, and that’s in Nashville – Music City – where country music lives,” Jackson says.

Jackson wrapped up his Last Call: One More For The Road Tour in May, hinting then that he would play one last show.

“It’s been a long, sweet ride,” Jackson said at the time. “It started 40 years ago this September. My wife and I drove to Nashville with an old U-Haul trailer, and chased this dream. It’s been a crazy ride. I’ve lived the American dream for sure, and I’m so blessed. Thank y’all so much for all your support of my music and coming to shows. It’s amazing how time and all that stuff works in your life. It all comes down to just one little three-minute song.”

Why Alan Jackson Is Retiring

In 2021, Jackson revealed he was batting  Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease, a neurological disorder that affects his mobility. His physical health is what ultimately led him to decide to come off of the road, for good.

“I’ve been touring for over 30 years, played everywhere, in countries and parts of the world,” Jackson said. “I’ve had a wonderful, wonderful career, and I’m getting into my twilight years … I enjoy spending more time at home, and don’t want to be away like I had been in my younger days. And I don’t tour as much now as I did of course ten years ago, but I think it’s getting time to start thinking about hanging it up full-time.”

Jackson recently received the inaugural ACM Alan Jackson Lifetime Achievement Award. It’s just part of what has been a dream career for the Country Music Hall of Fame member.

“I came to Nashville with a paper sack full of songs and a crazy dream, and all these years later, I’m standing here receiving such an honor like this,” he said at the time. “It’s mind-blowing. I thank God all the time for all the people that have been a part of my life and career that have helped me get here and maintain it all this time.”
