Luke Combs is sharing details about his new album, The Way I Am. Out on March 20th, the record includes his new song, “Sleepless in a Hotel Room,” available now.
“22 songs. It’s called The Way I Am …I’m really proud of this record,” Combs shares on social media. “I really, really am. I’m proud of my whole team for working on this. It’s been a long process getting this thing going. I’m excited for you guys to hear it.”
When Combs announced the record, he was in New York City, doing press for the album, ahead of the arrival of his third child with his wife, Nicole.
“Obviously got a new baby on the way, pretty much due any day now, so I’m up here trying to get all this press done,” Combs says.

What Luke Combs Says About His New ‘The Way I Am’ Album
In addition to “Sleepless in a Hotel Room,” Combs has already released “My Kinda Saturday Night,” “15 Minutes,” “Giving Her Away,” “Back In The Saddle,” and “Days Like These,” the latter a current Top 15 single for Combs. He recently celebrated his 19th No. 1 single, with “Back in the Saddle,” a song he wrote with Jonathan Singleton and Chip Matthews.
Combs recently revealed that he had recorded a lot of songs for The Way I Am, although he wasn’t sure how many he would include on his new project.
“I’ve already recorded, I don’t know, over 30 songs, I would think,” Combs tells Audacy. “I don’t know that there’s any plans to do like the big album thing. I just don’t know if I’d love that idea. There’s nothing against it. I mean, obviously it works really well.”
The Way I Am is Combs’ sixth studio album, and one he is eager to share with the world.
“I’m really stoked about everything that we’ve recorded. I think it’s really, really strong stuff,” Combs hints. “Obviously, everyone says that about every album they’ve ever done, so take that with a grain of salt. But it’s really just up to people how good it is, but I’m really excited about it. I’m really stoked to be getting back into it.”
Luke Combs’ 2026 Tour Plans
On March 21, Combs will embark on his My Kinda Saturday Night Tour, joined by Dierks Bentley, Thomas Rhett, along with The Castellows, Ty Myers, The Teskey Brothers, Jake Worthington, and Thelma & James. Combs hand-picked all of his tour openers, but is especially excited about Bentley and Rhett joining him on tour.
“Guys that I think are great guys, and guys that I’m a fan of first and foremost,” Combs says on SiriusXM’s The Highway, when asked how he picks his opening acts. “I pick all my openers. People ask me that. They’re like, ‘Do you get to pick the openers?’ And I’m like, ‘Well, yeah. I get to pick the openers, for sure.’ No one’s like, ‘You’re taking this guy. But I guess there maybe are people that don’t really care about the openers. I just can’t imagine that. ”
“For me, I really like to try to curate the experience. Like I know Dierks puts on a great show. I know TR puts on a great show. I know those things. I can know if I’m out there, the crowd’s gonna be fired up. And it’s gonna make me work to have to put on a great show. You can’t phone it in after playing after Dierks. You can’t phone it in after playing after TR.”
