Add Jason Aldean‘s voice to those predicting a Florida Georgia Line reunion. After duo members Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley revealed they were spending time together again, following their 2022 split, Aldean says he thinks a reunion is almost inevitable.
“Oh yeah, definitely. It’s coming,” Aldean predicts on the Try That In a Small Town podcast (via Taste of Country). “I would assume there’s probably going to be a record at some point. I feel like they’re getting there.”
According to Aldean, it only makes sense for Hubbard and Kelley to return to FGL, at least in some capacity.
“I think they’re too good to not do that. …You’re never going to be as big apart as you would together,” Aldean says. “They were too big an act as a duo to ever accomplish that same thing on their own.
“And I think they truly enjoy being together and making music together, and all those things,” he adds.
What Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley Say About Reuniting As Florida Georgia Line

Florida Georgia Line just performed together for the first time since their split, to honor Aldean, as part of his party celebrating his 31 No. 1 hits. Kelley, who initially wanted to launch his own solo career, says he is open to making more music as part of Florida Georgia Line.
“Life is good right now,” Kelley says on Country Outdoors (via iHeart). “I can’t get on TikTok or Instagram without scrolling through and hearing a couple FGL songs, which is amazing. That run we went on was unbelievable. We’re just so grateful for that. And right now, I think just working on our brotherhood is kind of top tier, most important for us. And I think, Lord willing, the brotherhood will lead its way home. So, we’ll see.”
Kelley is eager to return to his friendship with Hubbard. But he is also excited about the potential of more Florida Georgia Line music.
“I think we’re both focused on the friendship and working on our own stuff still,” Kelley says. “But I think time will tell, and I’m excited about what God can do. I think the options are endless right now. It’s really cool to see what time can do, as well. …But if I do think about it, it does excite me. So, we’ll see.”
While speaking on the Human School Podcast last fall, Hubbard said he was not opposed to a musical reunion with Kelley, but he was more interested in renewing their friendship.
“I have a desire for that friendship,” Hubbard says. “I miss the guy I was partners with for ten years. I miss my old roommate, my best man at my wedding, and if nothing else, we should have a relationship.”
“It doesn’t have to be what it was, and it doesn’t have to equal FGL doing anything, but we need to repair… and spend some time together face-to-face,” he continues. “And just walk and talk and hang, and go fishing or get a guitar out. I’m excited for that, because it feels like, at this point, enough time has gone by.”
