Riley Green Is Ready to Do a Duets Album With Ella Langley

Riley Green and Ella Langley have had two massive hits together, with both “You Look Like You Love Me” and “Don’t Mind If I Do” Both songs went to No. 1 on the charts and have won multiple awards. Now, Green says he might be ready to do a duets album with Langley.

“I don’t know how we wouldn’t entertain that,” Green tells Taste of Country. “We’ve had such a great track record, and we were fortunate to be on tour together, too. She was out on the road with me when we had those two songs, and that doesn’t happen very often.”

Green could soon have another chart-topping duet. He joins Carly Pearce on “If I Don’t Leave I’m Gonna Stay“. The song is in the Top 40.

What Riley Green Says About Singing With Ella Langley

Rumors have swirled about a romance between Green and Langley, rumors both of them emphatically deny. Still, Green admits that, musical chemistry aside, their appeal is likely due at least partly to how fans perceive them together.

“You don’t see it a lot anymore,” Green explains on Country Countdown USA. “I think that’s what drew fans to these songs. You want to believe the lyrics are true. Us writing and performing these songs, it came easy for us. We’re both from Alabama. We had a lot of the same influences.”

Still, the fact that they had to back-to-back hits even Green admits is unsual.

“I don’t think people realize how rare it is for both of us to have two big hits together, and we were on tour together,” Green says. “We got to travel the entire year doing those two songs. It was a lot of fun. You could tell the excitement of fans.”

With so much success together, Green said he is always open to singing with Langley.

“It would be really difficult not to try to do another song with Ella because that’s really worked well. … I think any collaboration that I do has got to be something that’s really organic,” Green says. “Just somebody that I have a relationship with, somebody I’m friends with, somebody I’m a fan of, and has the same musical inspirations that I do.

“I think me and Ella grew up the same way, and I think fans can tell when it’s real,” he continues. “There’s certainly some collaborations that go through management and labels and the proper channels, and I’ve never done it that way. It’s always been somebody I’m friends with that says, ‘Hey, I like this song. Wanna be a part of it?’”

Riley Green and Ella Langley Win Another ACM Award Together

Green and Langley just won their second ACM Award for Music Event of the Year. Green wrote the song by himself.

“I was in a green room in Fayetteville, Ark.,” Green recalls when accepting the 2026 ACM Award. “I was sitting by myself. I wrote this song, and I knew there was something special about it. And we already had another big hit together, ‘You Look Like You Love Me.’ And I thought, ‘Well, I need to find somebody to do this song with me.’ And I called Ella in Nashville, Tennessee, at the studio, and she showed up in her pajamas and sang what you hear on the track.”

“I had on jeans and a T-shirt, thank you very much,” Langley interjects

“She might sleep in those, I don’t know,” adds Green. “But I knew that it was never going to get any better than that.”
