Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have been together since 2015, and married since 2021. Both celebrities, the two are frequent subjects of tabloid fodder, claiming they have broken up. But Shelton says fans need not worry, their relationship is stronger than ever, in spite of the rumors.
“I started noticing these articles popping up about ‘Blake and Gwen, they’re split up,’ ” Shelton says on Country Countdown USA (via People). “‘They’re not even seeing each other anymore, they’re going through a divorce.’ And then, a week later, a picture comes out of us walking out of the grocery store … ‘Oh, they’re back together again!’”
“And another week goes by, and we’re not seen at the grocery store … ‘They’re divorcing,’ ” he continues. “I see pictures of Gwen and I on social media that I really go, ‘That looks so real.’ But I know I don’t even own that shirt. Or, ‘Whose car is that?’ … I don’t believe anything I see on the internet anymore.”

What Gwen Stefani Says About Her Relationship With Blake Shelton
Shelton is pretty smitten with Stefani, but the admiration definitely goes both ways. The mother of three is still amazed that the two were able to find true love, while they were both going through the heartache of their own divorces.
“We had just met, and it was chaos,” Stefani recalls to People. “Both of our lives were in complete turmoil, all over the ground. Nothing could save us at that point. There was a point where I was like, ‘I can’t even talk to you. This is insane. I already have enough problems. This is not happening anymore. We’re not going to text or nothing.’”
Stefani was formerly married to Gavin Rossdale. She now admits she had almost given up on her dream of a lasting, healthy relaitonship, until she started falling for Shelton.
“Something that I wanted since I was a little girl is to be married and have this love that I saw my parents have and have babies,” Stefani reveals. “That dream was completely ruined; it was crushed, and I had to figure out how I was going to move forward and make a new dream, and God putting Blake in my life was just that miracle.”

Admittedly, their lives couldn’t be more different. Stefani is a rock star with a home in Los Angeles, while Shelton is a country singer, who lives on his Oklahoma ranch. But when the two started blending their lives, the Grand Ole Opry member was thrilled at how much Stefani loved his rural home.
“She really has taken to it,” Shelton boasts on The Michael Waddell Podcast (via Country Now).. “She loves nature. I mean, when she’s here, she loves to just get out of the house and go on walks. She’ll just walk around; I got roads around the ranch, and she loves to exercise and just be out in it. So she just has really taken to the lifestyle of just having some freedom. For the last 30 years of her life, she steps out of the house and there’s somebody…taking pictures of her. And here, there is none of that, and she really appreciates it.”
