Bobby Bones on His Bulldog, Stanley: ‘He Was the Puppy That Nobody Wanted’ [EXCLUSIVE]

Bobby Bones might be one of the most successful media moguls of our time, but he still has a soft spot in his heart for the underdog, especially four-legged ones. The Arkansas native adopted his bulldog, Stanley, in 2019, although his beloved pet has had several health challenges since he became part of the radio host’s family, including requiring surgery in 2019. Thankfully, Bobby’s four-legged friend finally seems to be doing well.

“He’s healthy for the first time ever for a long period of time,” Bobby told Everything Nash. “When I got him, he had a lot of stuff wrong with him. That’s kind of why I took him. He was the puppy that really nobody wanted. So I took him. It took about a year, but he’s healthy now and loving it, and he’s great.”

Fortunately, Stanley also gets along well with Bobby’s other love, his girlfriend, Caitlin, but she isn’t necessarily ready for Stanley to have a sibling.

“She just texted me a minute ago because we were talking about getting another dog, adopting an older dog and she just texted,” Bobby said during our phone call. “I’m gonna read you this cause he’s over there right now. We have some movers in our house that are drilling stuff, and she wrote, and I quote, ‘We can’t get another dog. I’m about to jump off the roof because of this one.’ She’s taking care of him right now, but apparently he’s not doing well with all the drills. He’s going a little bit crazy.”

Bobby and Caitlin may not be ready to become parents of two dogs, but they are certainly doing well together. The couple, who has been dating for several months, is still going strong, with Caitlin making sure Bobby maintains a bit more balance between work and his personal life.

“Even though I’m busy, I have a great influence on my life, and her name is Caitlin,” Bobby told Everything Nash. “My girlfriend, she is extremely present. With Cait, life doesn’t revolve around what’s happening on TV and radio. For me, I’ve been so dedicated to my job, and her focus is not that. She doesn’t even like it, honestly. She doesn’t want any of the attention.

“That’s good for me,” he added. “At first it was forced, but it has made me value time. So, I do sleep a little bit more, mostly because she has instilled in me, beat in me that I need it.”
