Brooks & Dunn are heading back out on tour! The duo, made up of Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn, announce they will kick off their REBOOT 2024 Tour on May 5 in West Palm Beach, Florida. David Lee Murphy and ERNEST will serve as the opening acts.
The news was first announced with a video shared on social media.

The announcement comes one year after Brooks & Dunn revealed they were embarking on their REBOOT 2023 Tour, with Scotty McCreery serving as their opening act.
“They get out there and they kick butt every night,” McCreery said on Audacy’s Katie & Company. “They’re no spring chickens. They’ve been doing it a long time, but still, the energy they bring to that stage is unmatched. It really is. It gets everybody on their feet, gets me screaming out there like a fanboy every night, and I’m like, ‘Man, I saw the show last night, and I’m still back here doing this.’ They bring it, every night.”
There was a time fans wondered if they would ever get to see Brooks & Dunn perform together again. In 2009, the pair announced that they were splitting up, to work on solo projects.
“It’s too good a horse to ride it into the ground,” Brooks said when announcing the news (via People). “We’re still good friends. I’m proud to say we’ve never had a fight, never even yelled at each other. And that’s the truth … It’s a good thing. It’s just time.”
“We started as co-workers and realized we had a whole lot in common,” added Dunn. “We’ve ended up more like brothers.”
Both Dunn and Brooks both did release solo projects. In 2019 they released Reboot, their first project together since Cowboy Town was released in 2007.
