Cinco de Mayo: 5 Places to Celebrate in Nashville

Cinco de Mayo is almost here, which for most of us is a chance to enjoy great Mexican food and yummy drinks. Fortunately, Nashville has plenty of places that are offering just that this Friday. Keep reading to find five of our favorites.

1. Pancho & Lefty’s

Ever since we tried their Saturday brunch, we can’t stop talking about Pancho & Lefty’s. Their self-described NashMex food is available year-round, but this year’s Cinco de Mayo celebration is taking it up a notch. Pancho & Lefty’s will have a live DJ, cocktail and liquor samples, giveaways, yard games and more. The best part? It’s fun for the entire family, kids and pets included! 2. Plaza Mariachi

There might not be a more authentic Cinco de Mayo celebration than at Plaza Mariachi. The event, which begins at noon and runs until 2:00 AM the following morning, will include Mexican entertainment, featuring live musicians and dancers, along with a mariachi band, as well as a variety of Mexican food and drinks, plus a tequila and margarita bar.  Details here.

3. Assembly Food Hall

Assembly Food Hall, located inside 5th + Broadway, is offering food items all day long, plus music, face painting, dancing, photo ops and much more, not to mention plenty of tacos and other Mexican fare. 4. Rosepepper Cantina

Rosepepper Cantina is celebrating Cinco de Mayo with a parking lot party. In addition to their stellar regular food menu, the popular East Nashville restaurant is also bringing the celebration outside, with more food, drinks and live music, all day long. 5. Saint Anejo
