Everything Nash Tried It: Pork Belly Farmhouse Restaurant Review

Pork Belly Farmhouse is located in the heart of Nolensville, and consistently offers fresh, seasonal food, at an affordable price. We have never been disappointed by the food or drinks at Pork Belly Farmhouse, which puts out some of the best food in and around Music City.

Recently, four of us dined at Pork Belly Farmhouse, on a Thursday night. We happened to be there the first week they launched their Happy Day, which now occurs every Thursday. The event, which is their spin on happy hour, runs from 4:00 PM to close, and includes six wings for $7 or 12 wings for $12, plus $3 beers, half-price house wine, and select cocktails for only $6.

We started with the Crispy Fried Brussels and wings and LOVED both. The wings had a chef’s special sauce, which was just the right combination of spicy and sweet. For dinner, we each tried something different, including the half-sized Farmhouse salad (which was HUGE) along with the Goat Cheese Stuffed Dates, the Grilled Meatloaf (also huge), Hot Chicken, and the Roasted Pork Belly.

Full disclosure: I (owner of Everything Nash) had the Roasted Pork Belly, which seems to be the last thing I would order. I tend to lean more towards vegetables over meat, and things that are light and lean. But, even with that in mind, the Roasted Pork Belly was perfect. Not too much, and very, very tender. It came with bacon-wrapped asparagus and their Creamy Gruyere Mac & Cheese, and was divine. The Hot Chicken was crispy, with just the right amount of heat.

There are plenty of great restaurants in Nashville, but we keep going back to Pork Belly Farmhouse, because we have never had anything but amazing food from them. Whether you want a full meal or just a snack, a well-crafted cocktail or a cup of coffee and dessert, the Pork Belly Farmhouse remains one of our favorite places to eat.
