Jana Kramer is now a mother of three. The actress and singer gave birth to her son, Roman James Russell, her first child with her fiancé, Allan Russell. Roman joins seven-year-old Jolie and four-year-old Jace, Kramer’s two children with her former husband, Mike Caussin.

The couple also explained how they chose their newborn son’s name, in a joint statement to People.
“Allan and I are both overjoyed and truly grateful to announce the birth of our son, Roman James Russell. We feel blessed to have been given the chance to create something so special together,” they said. “The name Roman really isn’t inspired by anyone, it’s just a strong name that we both love, but James (his middle name) was both of our Grandpa’s names, so that was a nod to them.”
Earlier this month, Kramer revealed that she was having a scheduled c-section, due to some of her own health concerns, while sharing her last photo shoot as a mother of two.

Kramer and Caussin divorced in 2021. At the beginning of the year, Kramer confirmed her relationship with Russell, who proposed in May. A wedding date has yet to be announced.
“I’ve got an announcement today,” Kramer shared on her Whine Down podcast (via NBC Boston). “So Allan and I have been dating for…six and a half months. And he asked me to marry him.”
“It was a really beautiful night,” she continued. “We were all sitting on the porch of the steps and looking out at the view, it’s stunning. And he said my name and I got up or whatever and he got down on one knee and then Jolie just started jumping up and down, it was the cutest thing ever, it was like she knew what was happening.”
Kramer knew as soon as he popped the question that the answer would be yes.
“He said, ‘You’re the love of my life and will you marry me?'” Kramer remembered “Then we both started crying and it felt very sentimental given the front porch of the new house, new beginnings and it just felt right and so, yeah. Said yes, the kids were super excited then we walked down the hill, watched the sunset, it was perfect.”
