Jason Aldean’s Family Evacuates Florida Beach House as Wildfire Spreads

Jason Aldean and his family were forced to evacuate their Florida beach home, as wildfires continue to threaten the Florida panhandle. The Aldeans traveled to Florida to self-isolate during the coronavirus pandemic, but had to return to Nashville as the wildfire continued to spread.

Jason’s wife, Brittany Aldean, shared a photo on her Instagram Story of billowing smoke in the distance.

“We are ok, but evacuated,” Brittany posted on the photo. “Thanks for all the messages.”

Brittany also shared two more pictures, showing how scary the fires were becoming.

The wildfires have forced the closure of a ten-mile stretch of Interstate 10 in Santa Rose County, with residents in more than 1100 forced to evacuate as the threat of the wildfires spreading continues. The fire, which according to NBC News has burned more than 2500 acres, is believed to have been started at least partly by an illegal burning, with an arrest expected to happen “shortly.”

The Aldeans might have relocated to Florida to wait out the pandemic, but there is no place Briitany would rather live than in Nashville.

“If you ask me where my favorite place to be is, it’s here in Nashville,” Brittany told Brentwood Lifestyle magazine. “The music, the people, the animals. Never have I lived in a place where your neighbors own zebras, or you’re driving down the interstate and see beautiful buffalo grazing. Being the animal lover that I am, this is a pretty ideal place for me. The way people love my husband, his music, our family, it’s an amazing feeling.

“I feel at home, and there’s a sense of peace here that I’ve never had in any other city I’ve lived in,” she continued. “We are currently building our forever home here, a project we’ve been working on for two and a half years. Nothing makes me happier knowing my babies are being raised in this amazing place.”
