Jessie James Decker Promises ‘Major Transition’ in New Music [EXCLUSIVE]

There’s more music coming from Jessie James Decker! The TV personality, entrepreneur and now cookbook author, is working on new music, with at least one song coming out later this fall.

“I signed to Warner Nashville, which is the best thing I could have ever done,” Jessie told Everything Nash. “And I’ve been working on an album all year long and we have a single picked out. We were going to put it out this year, but with the pandemic, we decided to hold off and put it out the first of the year.

“This is my first project with Warner, my first single with them; we really want to set it up properly because we’ve worked so hard on this project,” she continued. “So I think that probably the best ideas is to wait for the top of the year, but I do have a Christmas single coming out with them, and that will be out in November.”

Jessie already released three albums, with her first record coming out in 2009. Since then, she got married (to retired pro football player Eric Decker), and had three children — all life changes that will be reflected in her new music.

“I think when people will listen to my album, they will know that it is me,” Jessie shared. “I’m the same artist that I’ve always been, but I just continue to transition into the woman that I am. I put out my first record when I was 19 and I’m 32 now. It’s a natural progression going from whatever I was thinking about it at 19 versus having three children and a husband.

“Life has changed in a beautiful way,” she added. “And so lyrically you’ll hear that, and you’ll see that, but also I feel like my music has matured production-wise and melodically. And so it’s a major transition for me, but the core of me is always there.”

Jessie just released her first cookbook, Just Feed Me, following the success of her New York Times best-selling lifestyle book, Just Jessie.

“These are all recipes I’ve been making for years,” Jessie told Everything Nash “I had this little notebook I kept in the kitchen on the shelf that I would jot down recipes that I would create myself or throw together; things that I just remembered the family liking. And so whenever it was time to put this book together, I popped open that notebook and I decided to put them all in this book.”
