Josh Turner, Justin Moore to Play Lynchburg Music Fest in October

If you’re ready for some live music, in-person, you’re in luck. Josh Turner, Justin Moore, Kip Moore, Riley Green and Danielle Bradbery have all signed on to perform at the Lynchburg Music Fest, a three-day music and camping event, held in Lynchburg, Tennessee October 2 – 4.

While live music events have largely been canceled because of COVID-19, Lynchburg Music Fest event organizers say they are taking every precaution to keep guests and employees safe. Masks will be required for every person attending, and will be provided for those who do not have one. Increased sanitization stations will be available throughout the festival, and the more than 100 acres allow for plenty of social distancing.

In addition, cashless paying options will be available for all purchases on-site, and temperature checks will be required at every entry point.

Kip was supposed to be on tour with Sam Hunt this year, which was unfortunately canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. But as early as May, the singer-songwriter said he was more than ready to start performing again.

“I would like to hope that we’re gonna learn to get back to just enjoying life and not being so afraid of our shadows,” Kip told Taste of Country. “I know this is a serious situation but I just also hope that people are able to not live a life of fear.”

“The minute I get the green light to play, I’ll be back playing, and I won’t be playing with a mask on,” he added. “I’ll be doing my thing. I’m not gonna let my life be lived in that way.”

The Lynchburg Music Fest is now in its second year. Last year’s lineup included Jamey Johnson, Montgomery Gentry and Joe Diffie, who passed away in March after suffering complications from contracting COVID-19.

Lynchburg is about 70 miles outside of Nashville. Tickets for the Lynchburg Music Fest begin at just $25 for one day, or $80 for all three days. Find more information, and keep track of updates, at LynchburgMusicFest.com.
