Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam With Luke Bryan, Brad Paisley Postponed to 2021

The Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam, slated for Labor Day weekend in Panama City Beach, Florida, has been postponed, due to COVID-19 concerns. The news of the postponement of the three-day event, headlined by Luke Bryan, Brad Paisley and Lynyrd Skynyrd, comes as coronavirus cases continue to rise all over the country.

The Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam, which will also include performances by Cole Swindell, Billy Ray Cyrus, Brothers Osborne, Lindsay Ell and more, will now be held March 26 to 28 instead.

Executive Producer Rendy Lovelady shared the news on Facebook, which also included a special message from Luke.

“I have some news for you guys,” Luke said. “Unfortunately, Gulf Coast Jam will not be going on Labor Day weekend. However, we found some new dates: March 26th, 27th and 28th. The headliners are still the same — Brad Paisley, Lynyrd Skynyrd and yours truly. With all of the challenges going on right now, to keep you guys safe, it felt like the right move was to postpone it a little bit. We’ll see you guys in March.”

Rendy admitted it was a tough decision to make, but one everyone felt was necessary during these challenging times.

“We held out as long as we possibly could before making the decision to postpone this year’s Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam,” said Executive Producer Rendy Lovelady. “The excitement for the festival was amazing. We knew our Jammers wanted to get out and hear some great country music, but virus numbers are rising all over the country and we had to make this very difficult decision.”

“The safety of Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam artists, fans, vendors, staff and the residents of our wonderful city is our highest priority, no matter what’s going on,” added Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam COO Mark Sheldon. “We felt like we had a great plan in place to make this a safe event, but conversations with state and local officials, the health department and CDC confirmed this was the most prudent move for everyone involved. We look forward to seeing everyone in March!”

A refund request form is available for those who purchased tickets through official Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam outlets, and are unable to attend the new dates.

Other artists scheduled to appear include Cody Jinks, Joe Nichols, Jon Langston, CJ Solar, Tenille Townes, Shy Carter, Riley Green, Walker Hayes and Ryan Hurd. See the complete line-up at GulfCoastJam.com.
