For Tim McGraw, it was love at first sight when he met his wife, Faith Hill. The “Standing Room Only” singer offered a sweet tribute to Hill, in honor of their recent 27th wedding anniversary, recalling the moment he fell for her, after meeting her for the first time.
“This is the very first picture ever taken of us, the very first time we ever met back in spring of 1994,” McGraw wrote. “This was backstage of the ‘New Faces’ show at the Country Radio Seminar……I fell for you in an instant! Today is our 27th wedding anniversary and I fall for you every day, every time you walk into the room, every time I see you in our three beautiful daughter’s smiles. I just keep falling and always will. Happy anniversary my love!”

Hill also honored her husband with a touching photo taken on stage.

McGraw recently praised Hill, when accepting the ACM Icon Award at the recent ACM Honors ceremony.
“My world changed the day I met Faith Hill … You’re my partner in life, you’re my partner musically,” an emotional McGraw said from stage. “And how blessed I am. I would not be where I am today, without you and your grace. I love you unconditionally.”
McGraw and Hill romance began while she was serving as the opening act on his 1996 Spontaneous Combustion Tour. The couple has three now-grown daughters, with Hill choosing to prioritize raising her girls over advancing her career. Still, her influence permeates everything McGraw has done musically since their relationship began.
“Faith is invaluable to me in every way,” McGraw told The Tennessean. “But creatively, I trust her ears 100 percent. She still hears rough mixes of everything I record before anyone else does. And she’s a tough judge to please. She hasn’t liked even some of my hits when she heard them the first time. The beauty of all of this is that we love each other, trust each other’s instincts and glean everything we can out of each other to make our projects better.”
