Tim McGraw’s Daughter Maggie Launches Nonprofit to Feed Nashville Healthcare Workers

Generosity runs in Maggie McGraw’s blood. The daughter of country music superstars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, Maggie has launched a non-profit, Feed the Frontline Nashville, to provide food to healthcare workers in Nashville, as well as those in need during the coronavirus pandemic.

Maggie launched Feed the Frontline Nashville along with Vanderbilt University students and other young adults, using meals from local restaurants, who are also struggling due to businesses being closed because of COVID-19. To date, Feed the Frontline has raised $50,000 in donations, delivered more than 1500 meals, and used 13 local restaurants to provide meals, including a recent donation to TriStar Centennial Medical Center, using food provided by Berry Farms’ Coffee and Coconuts.

Feed the Frontline was originally intended for healthcare and other frontline workers, but was expanded to include those struggling with food insecurity as well.

“The COVID-19 crisis is evolving and so is our mission,” a statement on Feed the Frontline’s website explains. “In addition to feeding our healthcare heroes, Feed the Front Line Nashville will partner with local restaurants to bring food to people who need it most during COVID-19, on the front lines and beyond.”

Other Feed the Frontline organizations already exist in parts of Texas, as well as Charlotte, North Carolina and Atlanta, Georgia.

CMT and Big Machine Label Group (which is Tim’s current record label) are both among corporate partners. Feed the Frontline will next deliver to St. Thomas Midtown Hospital on May 6. More information, including how to donate, can be found by visiting the organization’s website.
