Riley Green‘s fourth studio album, That’s Just Me, is out. The record includes his current “Think As You Drunk I Am” single, plus “My Way,” his “Go Again” duet with Hannah McFarland, and more.
“I think stylistically it’s got a lot of different types of songs on it. I think that was something that was so great about the album, Don’t Mind If I Do,” Green tells Audacy, referring to his 2024 record. “It had a lot of different moods. And I always tend to write sad country songs, and people don’t want to cry all day long. So I have some beer up in the air, drinking songs like ‘Think As You Drunk I Am,’ and I’ve got some beach songs. There’s a lot of different types of moments on here.”

What Riley Green Says About His New ‘That’s Just Me’ Album
That’s Just Me comes seven years after his debut Different ‘Round Here record. As the title suggests, That’s Just Me might also be his most personal.
“There’s a lot of truth in the songs,” Green tells American Songwriter. “If it’s not about something that actually happened to me, it’s about something that’s happened in my life. I think that fans of country music always want to believe a lyric’s true, so I try to make it as real as I can.”
In true Green fashion, he made sure there was something for everyone
“Something I’m always going to make my goal is to have a lot of different types of songs stylistically on a record. … I think this one’s got a lot of that,” Green says.
The Story Behind Riley Green’s “Think As You Drunk I Am”
“Think As You Drunk I Am” includes Toby Keith at the end of the song, singing his “As Good As I Once Was” hit.
“Toby was so good at those lighthearted fun songs,” Green says. “So it’s cool to have that kind of song on the record.”
Green wrote “Think As You Drunk I Am” with Erik Dylan, Wyatt McCubbin, and Jessi Alexander. He reached out to Keith’s family when the song was completed, since the song is a similar sound and feel to Keith’s hit single.
“They completely thought it was a tip of the cap to Toby, so they wanted to have his vocal on it,” Green tells Billboard.
