Alan Jackson Announces 2 Drive-In Concerts in Alabama, Benefiting Food Relief Efforts

Alan Jackson is taking his show on the road –– literally, with his Small Town Drive-In Concerts! The Country Music Hall of Fame member just announced he will perform two shows in Alabama next month, both drive-in shows which will allow for approximately 2000 cars to listen to Alan play songs from his last three decades in country music.

The first show will take place on June 5 in Cullman, Alabama, and the second one will take place on June 6 in Fairhope, Alabama. A portion of the proceeds will benefit food relief efforts in each town, which have been especially taxed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Both shows will follow CDC and Alabama state health guidelines, regarding social distancing. All attendees will be required to stay in their cars. Concessions will be available via phone orders only, with delivery directly to vehicles.

In addition to his successful music career, Alan also owns AJ’s Good Time Bar in downtown Nashville. Although some venues have started to reopen on Lower Broadway, Alan’s AJ’s Good Time Bar remains closed for the time being. An official reopening date has yet to be announced.

Alan has other shows posted on his calendar for later this year. No word yet which will be postponed due to COVID-19. Tickets for the Small Town Drive-In Shows will be available beginning on Wednesday, May 27, at 10 AM CT. More information on the Small Town Drive-In Shows, including ticket purchase, as well as future concerts, can be found by visiting Alan’s website.
