Carly Pearce Adds Dates To Her Country Music Made Me Do It Tour

Carly Pearce hasn’t even kicked off her headlining Country Music Made Me Do It Tour, but she has already added more dates to the fall trek. The Kentucky native added shows in three new cities: Tacoma, Chicago and Grand Rapids, ahead of the October 5 opening night in New York City.

Pearce announced the news on social media.

The Grand Ole Opry member announced the tour while dropping “Country Music Made Me Do It.” The song, along with her “We Don’t Fight Anymore” collaboration with Chris Stapleton, are both from her forthcoming new album.

“It’s been a crazy couple of years since I released 29 into the world, and I’m ready to begin this next chapter with you,” Pearce said at the time. “I’m SO excited to bring the ‘Country Music Made Me Do It’ Tour to life this fall, to celebrate the true beginning of a turned page in my life, both musically and personally. My friends at [Conundrum Wines] are coming along for the ride and I have soooo many fun surprises up my sleeve.”

As with all of her previous projects, Pearce is unafraid of telling her truth in her music, even if it’s blatantly and boldly honest.

“I think I’m known for writing the things that maybe some people are too uncomfortable to write about,” Pearce tells Audacy‘s US99. “I think I am the artist that maybe makes you go, ‘[gasps] Did she really just say that?’ And that’s the kind of person that I want to be. That’s the kind of artist that I want to be.”

“We Don’t Fight Anymore” is already in the Top 40. Pearce wrote the song with Shane McAnally and Pete Good, and immediately thought of Stapleton to join her on the heartbreak ballad.

“When we wrote it, I heard Chris singing on it,” Pearce told Audacy’s Coop. “I don’t know why. I kind of just heard him singing harmony on it, and I DM’d his wife, Morgane, and asked her if I could send a song for him, and it just snowballed. He ended up doing something so special on it, that unlocked the other side to the story, and it’s literally the most proud I’ve ever been to put out a song.”

Pearce will also serve as the opening act on Tim McGraw‘s 2024 Standing Room Only Tour, kicking off on March 14 in Jacksonville, Florida. See all of the Country Music Made Me Do It Tour dates below. All of Pearce’s music and upcoming shows can be found at CarlyPearce.com.
