Rendy Lovelady, the Executive Producer of the Kickoff Jam, who also puts on the annual Gulf Coast Jam, is eager for fans to help celebrate country music with the iconic artists.

“I’ve been doing this for 40 years, and without question, this is the biggest show we’ve ever put on,” he says. “We’re excited to celebrate five decades of country music in Panama City Beach!”

“It’s such a great honor to be a part of bringing the biggest names in Country music right here to our beautiful beaches,” adds Kickoff Jam COO Mark Sheldon. “It’s our vision to not only support the local community, but to show the country how proud we are of our heritage and country music in Panama City Beach.”

Brooks has plenty of other things to keep him busy this year besides touring. The Country Music Hall of Fame member just opened his  Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky Tonk along with his wife, Trisha Yearwood, as his way of expressing his gratitude to the city of Nashville for making all of his dreams come true.

“This one is a thank you,” Brooks told Everything Nash. “This one has been a guilt trip for me forever. This city has been so good to me. And it’s like the musical Oz kind of thing. So if you’re one of the people that’s lucky enough to get to live the dream, don’t you owe this city? This is how we think about it. So it’s been piling up on you and piling up on you that you owe this city. Let’s give it something.”

The Kickoff Jam comes after the Gulf Coast Jam Presented by Jim Beam, taking place May 30 to June 2.  Parker McCollum, Jelly Roll; Cody Johnson and Morgan Wallen will headline that event.

TuneIn.com will be the official media sponsor. Storme Warren, host of Brooks’ The Big 615 radio station, will serve as the weekend’s host. Tickets for the Kickoff Jam will be available on April 24 at KickoffJamPCB.com.
