Chapel Hart Posts Musical Tribute to Loretta Lynn [WATCH]

Chapel Hart is offering a musical tribute to the late Loretta Lynn. The trio, made up of sisters Danica Hart and Devynn Hart, and their cousin Trea Swindle, shared a video on social media of them singing “You Ain’t Woman Enough (To Take My Man),” also revealing they were working up another Lynn song in honor of her life and legacy.

“Sweet Sweet Loretta,” Chapel Hart captioned the video. “Words cannot describe how heartbroken we are today. We were literally just working through our song for you yesterday on the road, we think you’d be stoked to know we are EXTENDING ‘Fist City.’ We know you had to go but don’t you worry mama, you left country music in good and capable hands! Your wings, we know, are Gorgeous/Fabulous so go on and Rest High On the Mountain, there are no goodbyes ONLY see you laters!”

Chapel Hart received high praise from Lynn after earning a collective golden buzzer from all four judges, plus host Terry Crews, on America’s Got Talent, for their response to Dolly Parton‘s “Jolene.”

“I love it, ladies,” Lynn commented on social media, also sharing their stunning performance. “Now I’m wondering what you might be able to do with one of my songs!”

Chapel Hart made their Grand Ole Opry debut last month. They can also be heard on Darius Rucker‘s new single, “Ol’ Church Hymn,” which is out now.

“Like so many people, I was blown away when I saw Chapel Hart’s original response to ‘Jolene,’” Rucker said. “I was recording ‘Ol’ Church Hymn’ at the time and instantly had this vision of it becoming a duet once I heard their voices. I’m so thankful they said yes to singing on it with me, and I can’t wait to see the huge career they’re going to have.”

Lynn passed away on Tuesday, October 4, at her home in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. Funeral arrangements have yet to be announced.
