Chuck Wicks and Wife Kasi Expecting First Child Together After Infertility Struggle

Chuck Wicks is going to be a dad! The singer and radio host just announced that he and his wife, Kasi, are expecting their first child, a boy, together, after an emotionally exhausting struggle with infertility.

“I have a dreamed of this moment for a long time,” Chuck shared on social media. “I’m so excited to share with all of you that [Kasi Rosa] and I are HAVING A BABY!!! It has been an emotional roller coaster to say the least. We had to take the IVF route to get it done and we wanted to share our story with all of you of our journey because infertility is a real thing and can affect anyone for many different reasons.

“We are so thankful for the IVF process and our amazing Drs. and nurses,” he continued. “Sending prayers and all the positive vibes to anyone going through a difficult time bringing a baby into the world. We know how it feels to want it so bad.”

The couple opened up to People about their journey to becoming parents together, revealing that the reason they could not conceive was because of an issue with Chuck, not Kasi.

“As a man, the last thing you want someone to tell you is you can’t do this,” Chuck admitted to the outlet. “It makes you feel small. It makes you feel like you’re not a man.”

Chuck and Kasi used in vitro fertilization (IVF) to help give them their child, a boy, and regardless of how Kasi became pregnant, they couldn’t be more excited to welcome a son into their family, and hope they can be an encouragement to others.

“We started hearing a lot of very similar stories that had successful outcomes, so I think it gave us that hope that, OK, maybe this can work for us, too,” Kasi said.

“The fact that we had to go this route, makes us realize even more how special having a child is,” added Chuck.

Kasi is the sister of Jason Aldean. She already had three daughters when the couple tied the knot last July. A due date has yet to be announced.
