Jason Aldean Postpones We Back Tour Until 2021

Count Jason Aldean among the long list of artists who are abandoning any hope of touring in 2020. The Georgia native made the disappointing announcement on social media, vowing he and his band would be back, and better than ever, in 2021.

“We’re making the call to postpone my WE BACK TOUR until 2021,” Jason announced on social media. “The health and safety of my fans, my band and crew and all the local workers in your town who help pull off our shows each night is something we’re not going to gamble on. I can promise you we’ll get you new dates as soon as we can, and that me and the boys will be back next year bigger and louder than ever.”

Jason came off the road in March, as the coronavirus pandemic began to sweep across the country. He was planning on spending the summer on the road, with Brett Young, Mitchell Tenpenny and Dee Jay Silver.

Jason and his family are in the middle of building their dream home, located just outside of Nashville. They are enjoying their self-isolation at their Florida beach house, although they briefly evacuated earlier this month, due to the spreading Florida wildfires. Their new home, which includes a bowling alley and a pool with a waterslide and beach, is expected to be finished this year.

“It’s where we want to be from now on and kind of raise our kids,” Jason previously told Taste of Country, speaking of their new home. “It’s one of those things where I just said, ‘I’ve worked hard over the years. If we’re going to do this, let’s build what we want, and not sit here in five years and go, ‘Man, I wish he had done this or that.’ We made sure we knew exactly what we wanted and when, and started building it.”
