The news comes as Dan + Shay recently celebrated their tenth No. 1 hit, with “Save Me The Trouble.” The song is the first song the pair released from their fifth studio album, Bigger Houses, which was released in September.

“It’s surreal to even say that out loud, and what a dream come true,” Smyers said of their massive accomplishment. “Thank you so much to all the country radio stations that played the heck out of this song. To our fans, for showing love and streaming this song, and spreading the word, our co-writers, everybody in the studio who helped us bring it to life. We couldn’t think of a better way to kick off 2024, or to kick off the Bigger Houses album cycle. We are truly so grateful.”

“I’m fired up,” added Mooney. “I can’t wait to play this song on the Heartbreak on the Map Tour at the end of February. We are so excited. Thank you guys. I know we’ve said that, but we’re going to say it a million times. We are so grateful to be coming into this year with our tenth No. 1. It’s absolutely crazy. After being in a band for ten years, this is absolutely wild. Thank you for everything. We love you. We’ll see you on the Heartbreak On the Map Tour.”

In addition to new music and touring, Dan + Shay are also gearing up for their inaugural season as joint coaches on The Voice, working alongside Reba McEntire, John Legend and Chance the Rapper.

“It’s two chairs, but one button, and they’re actually connected,” Smyers explained to Variety. “It’s kind of one big platform. It’s definitely a spectacle. We’ve worked with them a lot. You know, we were mentors for Blake’s team … We got to do that show a few times, and I guess that was kind of our tryout back then.”

Dan + Shay’s Heartbreak on the Map Tour kicks off on February 29 in Greenville, South Carolina. Ben Rector and Hailey Whitters will serve as the opening acts for the previously-announced run of shows.

Season 25 of The Voice premieres on Monday, February 26, at 8:00 PM ET on NBC.
