Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row is open again in Nashville! The bar and music venue closed its doors in March, due to the coronavirus pandemic, but is now open again for business, as part of Phase One of Mayor John Cooper’s plan to slowly reopen Music City. Dierks was one of the first to speak up as bars all over Lower Broadway were forced to close their doors, vowing to do all he could to keep paying his numerous employees.

“Just gave last call at Whiskey Row Nashville as we close the doors for awhile,” Dierks shared on social media the night the business officially shut down. “My heart goes out to all the guys/girls down on Lower Broad. Feels like yesterday that it was me down there working for tips. I am going to immediately give each of our 90 hourly employees $1,000 to help in the short run as our community and country try to get a handle on the situation.

“Riot Hospitality Group and I encourage all bar owners on Lower Broadway to take care of their bartenders, bar backs, waitresses, security, dishwashers etc. the best they can,” he added. “Lower Broadway is the heartbeat of Nashville. Let’s make sure we help the folks that help make the music happen.”

Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley, who together make up Florida Georgia Line, credited Dierks with inspiring them to pay their FGL House employees as well.

“We just wanted to give a quick shout-out to Dierks Bentley,” Tyler announced on social media, shortly after Dierks’ announcement. “We saw the post you made yesterday, and how you’re helping out and giving $1000 to all of the staff and the employees at your bars, and quite honestly, you inspired us. We’re going to follow suit, and take your lead, and we’re going to do the same thing. We’re going to give $1000 to all the FGL House employees. We really hope this helps out in a time of need.”

John Rich was the first to open his business on Lower Broadway, with his own Redneck Riviera. Find information on Whiskey Row’s guidelines and restrictions by visiting DierksWhiskeyRow.com.
