Ella Langley is opening up about her faith. During one of her concerts, Langley shared why she is so passionate about her spiritual beliefs, now more than ever.
“I’ve always been a believer in Christ, but the last year of my life, it has absolutely changed,” Langley begins. “I went from not praying before every single show, to praying before every single show. I went from not being able to talk about my relationship, because I was embarrassed or I felt weird about it, to not being able to shut up, to be completely honest. I can’t stop talking about it.”
Langley goes on to say that the reason she is so vocal about her Christianity now is because of the hard times she endured before having success in country music.
“Here’s the reason that I know I should keep doing what I’m doing, is because there have been so many times where I got a no,” the “Choosin’ Texas” singer says.. “‘No, you’re not good enough.’ Do you know how many record labels turned me down, before one – one – picked me up? How many publishers turned me down, before one picked me up? How many people in this career have said, ‘I don’t know. I don’t know if you’ve got the thing.’ And there was this little passion inside my heart that said, ‘You keep going, baby. Just keep going. Just keep going. Just keep going.”

Ella Langley Uses Her Platform to Inspire Others
Langley hopes that by speaking about her faith, and by sharing her story, that others will be inspired as well.
“What I think my testimony is, it’s not always going to be easy,” Langley says. “Doing the thing that you want to do for a living is not easy. It’s scary, and it’s hard. You will get doors shut after doors shut. But all you need is one door open, and you can do it, I promise, you can. I’m only speaking from experience. … I want you to remember that no matter how many times you mess up, no matter how many times you fall short, you are loved, and you are who you are because of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ made you to be that way.”
The Story Behind Ella Langley’s “Loving Life Again”
Langley has a Top 5 single with “Loving Life Again,” a song she wrote with Ernest Smith and Devin Dawson. Langley was inspired to write “Loving Life Again” taking some time away from touring to focus on her mental health.
“‘Loving Life Again’ is one of those songs that I wrote almost because I needed to,” Langley says in a video shared on social media. “Obviously, last year, I just kind of lost my mind a little bit. My imposter syndrome kicked in, and my life was moving faster than ever. All my dreams were coming true, but I felt sad for some reason. Just that in itself was frustrating. So I kind of lost myself a little bit last year, and that was tough, because all of these amazing things were happening in my life.”
