Eric Church Shares Details and Photos Of His New Nashville Bar, Chief’s

Plans are well underway for Chief’s, Eric Church‘s new Nashville restaurant, bar and music venue. The six-story space, located at 200 Broadway, will offer both a ticketed music venue and Whole Hog BBQ from Jamaes Beard Award-winning chef, Rodney Scott, along with a stellar downtown view from the Hell of a Q rooftop bar. In addition. Chief’s will also have a studio on-site for live broadcasting, including his own Outsiders Radio channel on SiriusXM.

Chief’s is being opened by Church in partnership with real estate and hospitality mogul, Ben Weprin.

“I’ve had a blast working with Ben on the design of Chief’s,” Church says of the new space. “Like everything we do with our music, the same care and consideration has gone into every detail of this place. It will be unrivaled downtown. I can’t wait to play here..”

“Chief’s is an example of impactful design storytelling at its finest,” adds Weprin, CEO and Founder of AJ Capital Partners. “We are excited to bring an experience unparalleled in the world of music, food, and entertainment to the heart of Broadway with one of the most storied properties downtown has seen. Through Rodney Scott’s Whole Hog BBQ, two seated music venues and a meaningful design, Chief’s is a physical manifestation to Eric Church and his musical legacy.”

Church has won numerous awards over the year,s including several ACM and CMA trophies. But his recent honor, as a recipient of the North Carolina Award, is one that he says will always be meaningful to him.

“I didn’t think music was going to lead me here. I’ve had the good fortune to win some awards and have some accolades, but this one hits different for me,” the Granite Falls, North Carolina native said during the ceremony, when accepting the prestigious honor. “North Carolina is where I became me. I became a songwriter. I became an artist. I became a man. I can remember being 22, heading to Nashville, Tennessee with a dream and a guitar. And my mother and close friends and family, who are here tonight said to me, ‘Don’t forget who you are and whose you are.’ …I belong to my God, my family, and North Carolina.”

An opening date for Chief’s has yet to be announced.
