Garth Brooks Extends Las Vegas Residency Into 2024

Garth Brooks will be spending a little more time in Las Vegas. The Grand Ole Opry member is extending his Garth Brooks/Plus ONE residency into 2024, due to fan demand.

“My whole life I have heard the saying, ‘Rome wasn’t built in a day,'” Brooks says. “Well, thanks to God and the people, ours was. Truly grateful and unapologetically excited,”

Brooks’ Garth Brooks/Plus ONE residency will take place at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace beginning in 2023.

“Vegas is the place where anything goes, and The Colosseum at Caesars is the heart of Vegas,” Brooks says of his new residency. “The perfect combination to present a show that will not only push the envelope, it’s gonna shred it.”

The 60-year-old just voiced his support for the proposed new domed stadium in Nashville, even if he never performs there. Brooks said at the end of his Stadium Tour that he wanted to spend less time on the road, and more time supporting his wife, Trisha Yearwood.

“Here’s a spoiler alert,” Brooks told CMT. “How about being married to someone who has more Grammys than you do? Then you say, ‘What is her future, and how do I be a mate to her and whatever she wants to do?’ She’s kind of in the same place in her life where she’ll be starting new chapters. I want her to, without pause or hesitation to go, ‘I want to do this.’ Then my job is to be her love and her support.”

In addition to heading to Las Vegas, Brooks will also focus some of his time on his forthcoming Friends In Low Places bar and restaurant in downtown Nashville.

“Friends In Low Places will be the Chick-Fil-A of honky-tonks,” Brooks hinted (via The Tennessean). “I want a thumping, crazy place where people feel good — but they’re also safe, loved, comfortable, and are treated well with good manners.”

Brooks vows to play not only his own music at Friends in Low Places, but plenty of other country stars, including some of the genre’s biggest legends.

“[Friends In Low Places] will be a classic honky-tonk, because country music has been so good to me,” Brooks explained. “King George [Strait], Merle Haggard, Trisha Yearwood, Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton should be played on Lower Broadway in 2022. I don’t think that’s too much to ask.”

Garth Brooks/PlusONE is slated to begin in May, which is when the 2024 dates will be announced. More information is available at GarthBrooks.com.
